Open up the device manager, see whether got exclamation mark or not, then open its properties and see its hardware id, google that id and see which brand/model and find the driver...

Which brand is the cheapest external DVDRW in the market??
I saw buffalo external DVDRW RM120..
any recommendation?
Does cheap external DVDRW comes with weaker in performance(Speed) & durability?

Not sure about the cheapest, but as for performance, just check the read/write speed and compare with other brand,

Buffalo is ok.
http://www.buffalotech.com/select-your-region.

DVDRW is an ancient technology. Speed is irrelevant.
All current DVDRW drives perform the same.
Durability, it depends on how frequent you use DVDRW. There is a lifespan for the lens.
