Newbieeeeee, try take a look at Photoscape for freeware u can download and use for free... it has about 60% of what PS:CS3 can do, and 80% of what photographers need to edit their pics..

of coz, there's always the full version of Photoshop CS4/5 extended to use, but that's for me (and many others here as well) to know and for you to find out.

got le..

fisheye and wide angle are different in their own ways. there's a 16mm fisheye, there's 11mm wide angle... so fisheye is not nessecarily wider than wide angle... fisheyes are mainly for the effect. you wouldnt wanna use it for architectural shots.

*
converter's IQ is very bad.. and ppl here really insane about image sharpness, u ask them use converter? they rather eat grass to save up to buy a real lens.. laugh.gif

wait i clarify again,

if the flash flashes several times if you half press the shutter, then its AF assisting.

if press shutter liao then flash few times its red eye reduction.

sorry for confusion. blush.gif

i assume you're talking about the built in flash?

1212345656, not advisable to bring for repair, as it will definitely cost you the price of another 2nd hand 18-70.. my suggestion: go get a 2nd hand one if you wanna continue using the kitlens, or save up to get the tamron 17-50 f/2.8, which as for now, what u can probably do is to manual focus... unless you have other lens to use..

How much is 18-105?? Btw if I buy tamron or sigma lens, do I nid to buy mount for Sony?
*
Of coz you need to. Tamron, Sigma, Tokina.. they all make A-mount lenses compatible for Sony/Minolta users.

and its 16-105, not 18

here is a reference link if you wanna know roughly where the 2nd hand market price is at http://www.alphanatics.com/viewtopic.php?f...7bccb99922d6149

75-300 can take good macro shots?
*
there's SAL 18-70, SAM 18-55, Minolta 35-70 f/4 (aka mini beercan), assortment of m42 (manual focus) lenses..

75-300 is a tele, not meant for macro, providing only 1:4 max magnification from real size.

if there are any 18-70 lying around, get that... you'd have more usage of a wide angle than a tele..

its because i did not say anything about mo0 - regarding whether he like to shop, or likes to snap photos, or like to walk around naked..

i merely stated that you replaced mo0's status... but from there, you deduced that i meant that mo0 like to shop a lot, hence implying that YOU yourself like to shop a lot.

kapish?
