I find that the corners of the EVF will appear blur to me and yes, I'm wearing specs. When I'm looking at the center, the corners appear blur. When I look into the corner they appear sharp. I guess to some people wearing specs this issue will crop up.

lwliam : Love your sunset/sunrise shot. Getting poisoned by the 135mm Zeiss eh?

Added on November 10, 2010, 4:37 pmprox, the hotshoe mount is the same as any other alpha mounts, so bearing the weight of the f58 should pose no issue. unless you're running around with your camera on your neck with flash attached.. then you're looking for trouble

lwliam - but the flash unit doesnt look "firm" and steady on the hotshoe..afraid it will become loose after a while..

btw, i am spreading good stuff about Sony Alpha..manage to convince few
*
it does/will have a tiny bit of play on the hotshoe, if it fits too snugly, the stress on the plastic is constantly there, making it more prone to breakage. but if too loose, you will need to send in to service centre for a simple tightening of screws, thats all..

QUOTE(signither @ Nov 10 2010, 04:50 PM)
dunno. just asking. i'm new with camera.

Does anyone find their 50mm SAM often overexpose the photos under bright light? I need to close up the aperture up to f5.6+ in order to get properly exposed photos. This kills the purpose of my 50mm lens.

what's your ISO and shutter speed? under bright sunlight, if ISO and shutter speed is still unable to let u maintain your large aperture, then there's nothing u can do in camera, the next step is to get an ND filter..

as long as your shutter speed is decent enough, you should be able to get sharp pics...

and what do you mean by hard to aim? well, to me, it all come via practice...
