Holy crap. I compare the photos I view online with my N8 and Samsung monitor (3 years old), I can see the color on the N8 more vivid.

of course lah... U are viewing LCD vs AMOLED.... and ur samsung monitor probably is a TN panel.. colour banding is horrible..

Some tidbits about the Nokia Ranger programme yesterday

- The N8 that was handed yesterday were the pre order ones, meaning it is bundled with the extra 12 months warranty n the case. Kinda digging the case tbh, because it makes holding the N8 much easier.
- the qt web browser is coming. ETA? Still dunno
- When being asked whether there will be a Nokia N8 comes with music edition, the only answer was it is confidential.

LOL. Yup, the browser update surely cant get here fast enough.
For those who wants to experience some pseudo-tabbed browsing like me, if you want to force open a new tab, just go to videos- youtube while your browser is running. Alas, a new tab is opened. Kinda PITA but for me, Im in need of tabbed browsing in the stock browser. And so far, its quite good

today smartphone are make for integrate with the NET... so.. without a data plan.. lot's of it function are behind....

my friend feel like want to smash his Ipad when he is outside without WIFI.. he seriously regret buy the one without 3G....

and.. a lot of application are make/mean to be use with data.. like listen to music directly, read book from net, read news etc etc....
