Anyway, for the N8 itself, quoting from my wrds yesterday, i just can say, it is awesome. Build quality is downright excellent, the software side is impressive too, although i've managed to make the dreaded "Memory full” popup to come out. Ask Hexpheonix. He's with me when it happen. And Sklchan, u succeed in your stress test? Lol
The only gripe right now for me is the browser. Its is useable, but not that good, especially when being compared with the likes of Mobile Safari and Android Froyo browser. *maybe a certain Samsung Galaxy S owner want to clarify this lolol*

p/s: typed and online from the N8 itself. In a nutshell, great phone with great functionality. At a great price.

Some tidbits about the Nokia Ranger programme yesterday

- The N8 that was handed yesterday were the pre order ones, meaning it is bundled with the extra 12 months warranty n the case. Kinda digging the case tbh, because it makes holding the N8 much easier.
- the qt web browser is coming. ETA? Still dunno
- When being asked whether there will be a Nokia N8 comes with music edition, the only answer was it is confidential.
-Radience is.....radiant. *me hides from jeers and sneers from others lololol *

LOL. Yup, the browser update surely cant get here fast enough.
For those who wants to experience some pseudo-tabbed browsing like me, if you want to force open a new tab, just go to videos- youtube while your browser is running. Alas, a new tab is opened. Kinda PITA but for me, Im in need of tabbed browsing in the stock browser. And so far, its quite good

Okay. This is bad. One of my favourite Symbian app, Mobbler, a Last FM scrobbler refused to work on the N8. It just crashes and unable to play any songs.

I dont think that is the issue here. IMHO, the only reason we getting choosen was because of the constructive posts we post and shared.

Loading time for NFS Shift is quite slow. But not to the extent of messing up with the gameplay.

Its a great game. And its much better, considering that it is free of charge.

May I know how? Can transfer messages as well?
My SIM still in X6, due to the fact the Phone Switch app cant transfer messages into N8 for no apparent reason

hmm....am i the only one who felt that the messaging app is quite laggy. Right now, i have around 3000 msg in my inbox and man, it just crawls. Taps taking some time to be registered, scrolling is jerky. I mean, really jerky. Quite a headache i must say.

But the problem was not that visible when using Conversations. Right now, I just place a shortcut on my homescreen to quickly go into the conversation app, without getting into the Messaging app first.

Am I the only one who have this problem?

Hmm. Been trying with the N97 mini headset. So far so good, with no problem watsoever. And the N97 mini is the same one as the one bundled with the N8. So I'm guessing it should be fine.

But then, I'm using my Nokia BH 505 heavily. Life's without wires FTW! LOL
