I need to double confirm when I get home. To be honest, it was the OVI Suite that I downloaded from the internet about 3-4months ago, while still using 5800. It detects the phone okay and transferred WMV/AVI just fine, so I kinda ruled that out. I will update later when I get home... most likely Ovi Suite as it was set as default.

The battery drain is quite severe as well, kinda same like my Legend. Possibly the weakness of ARM11 power management. I charged it last night in off mode for 2.5hrs and only on it this morning at 8am. Now 11am and battery already left like 40% only.

err... can someone add me in the Black Grey N8 owner too

and by the way Aspire2006 wants to own a silver one .. his exact color of N8 is unconfirm yet will be confirm by next week as he told ...

As for now, Converter in S^1 which is important to me has been stripped down. Will check again after this if tnere's another function that they stripped from S^1.

I tot n8 have good battery life ...
To me all the while I dont think so.. coz N97 have much slower CPU, higher capacity battery also... also not last very long....

simply put, there isn't a "converter" when transferring other vid format to the phone. S^1 have it, S^3 doesn't have it. Probably S^3 support almost all vid format?
