i would prefer a large overhead stereo headset, or at least the round one where you clip on the ear and it covers the ear on the outside, not the type that stuff into the ear. So, i'll need to buy one (perhaps that kinda headset drain more battery eh?).

when phone screen locked, why sometimes the "time" is at top, sometimes at bottom? can set?

I believe it is to prevent the screen from 'burn-in'.

Btw, I would suggest u send a report if u found some bug/inaccuracy with Ovi Map Beta.  It will improve Ovi Map better

Also for the control.

Home button > Setting > Phone > Accessory > Make sure "Headset" is the default, not "Headphones", otherwise you cannot control the volume / skip

no. it will overwrite and BEWARE the Ovi Map BETA is BETA. It might or will have some bug. So if u want to be safe, use the current ovi map.

tried vol +  using n8 button?

OK followed what u instructed, sound improve, at least no more echo but still very soft, not as loud like how I blast on my N73 last time.
I still cannot press the control buttons on my headset/headphone, have to manually touch the screen to change.
I even change the defaults from headphones to headset and vice versa again, still the same

I would suggest u charge it when its left 1 bar. Or b4 u go to sleep
