Actually for me both inspira and lancer price are almost the same..
Try to to think this way.. If u bought inspira, u got no 5 airbags, bodykits and spoilers, 18" rims.. Interest rate reaches almost 4 percent.. Assuming u do 9 years loan, that gonna cost u extra 9k compare to Mitsubishi.. All this and that gonna cost u a bomb in it pocket.. That is 2.0 ya. If u comparing 1.8 said that no nappa leather seat, auto cruise and somemore tech stuff.. For lancer gt,rm120k with all the things u needs and somemore 5 years warranty with free servicing if I'm not mistaken.. Also, it cbu from japan.. What i mean is the price almost few k different, so it just depends on the individual.. So Mitsubishi users don be butthurt.. Or u can laught at them with such price range they get proton instead of Mitsubishi .. If I have option, definitely Mitsubishi unless they adjust the interest rate..my 2cents |

It has been very interesting to follow upon this thread ever since the prelaunch to actual pricing with booking, I m sure many of us would have felt the wow factor irregardless if u like lancer in actual; just that I can help saying proton marketing strategy has worked this time round, looking in retrospect there had been so many under achieving models but yet this time round they have really bite the bullet n taken something nice n daringly enough for a direct rebadge. I am sure with this move in as much as breaking the hearts of existing lancer owners it is still a small price to pay compared to wooing the hearts of the bigger masses who view this move being bold n yet smart. Dun get me wrong I have my own fair share of owning a proton before n experiencing it's inferior built but yet again this time round with such a direct n close rebadgong move, it is serious enough to tempt anybody who is a lancer enthusiast; now a lot of us may question on how well the built is going to be, but this can only be a myth but soon to be proven either way; again my sympathies to the current lancer owners.

Don't forecast the specification of Inspira before the facts is out, you might not be true at all.

QUOTE(keeting89 @ Oct 23 2010, 01:42 PM) I am even willing to pay a bit extra if that is given by Proton as an optional extra, should that sounds too much to ask from them . That way no worries when warranty claims arise. Of course FOC will be better, realizing that the 2.0 model should be given different rims compared to the ones seen on display going around on the truck, which i assume is for 1.8. Most other manufacturers do that, Kia and Honda as an example. Mitsu Lancer GT comes with 18-inch rims. Much of them are on our roads today. All i am asking is 17-inch rims and that i believe, would be the best compromise between comfort, handling, prices and aesthetics. |

For lancer interest quoted 3.1%. Inspira 2.0 get 3.55%. Not much different I guess. Lancer gives 3K discount, and 2 yrs free maintenance..
