You won't be able to make payment to TM using credit card in OCBC Online.
Only OCBC Current Account or Savings Account holder can use OCBC Online to pay to TM.

but how come i am able to "select" my cc account there when attempting to make payment?

I believe when you click NEXT, the payment will go void.

u r right. just called to verify this.
only transactions to certain selected merchants can be made online via ocbc webside, which we need to verify with the cus care from time to time.

jz found out that, even a saving/current holder, who do not own a tit is entitled to 3% rebate.

jz got my this month statement printed from OCBC tit.

got a total RM19.76 rebte for 1st month usage. left RM30 to kao dim the GST then can start saving.

the rebate is not particularise, how do we know which is entitled for 5 % and what is entitled for 1%? or or we can only guess and do the calculation manually?

I put all my transactions in Excel to mark which is 5% and 1% to the best of my knowledge.
The final rebate calculation of mine is exactly the same as OCBC's

i think so far OCBC offers the longest repayment period
my cc statment is 11 and repayment is on 1 of every month, so a total 21 days compared to my cimb, 17 and repayment date is 1 of every month.

what do u all think?

Well some of you guys did not get the OCBC email for the internet rebate.

Today I got invitation from OCBC to attend Exclusive OCBC CC Event Privileges at Rolex Boutique Pavillion by Swiss Watch Galley on 1st Dec 7pm. It says with OCBC CC gets preferential retail rate, lucky dip with purchase and up to 18 months 0% instalment. Too bad I not into watches. FYI, I don' have any account with OCBC except for the Titanum card.

invitation was via sms or what?
i wanna go also:(

generally the CIMB and DA have the same benefits i.e. merchants that offer discount to CIMB also applicable to Direct Access. However not the Case for islamic cards.

click below for DA promotions

took abt 3 months to get my mom's Titanum approved.
at first, it was rejected due to insuff docs. Appealed against it, and the status was awating further docs (even i had sent to them immediately after the request was made). I resent again.

finally it was approved and shall wait and see how many CL does she get (she earns more than me) smile.gif

another good news, have accumulated RM100 rebate for this month. another 2 weeks more to go, my statement date is 11 everymonth.

am happy smile.gif

my opinion,
Dec - Jan rebate is RM120 max as long as the transaction date is on or before 31/12/10 as the promo period is till 31/12 smile.gif
*
hard to draw the line also the statement date is in Jan.

Assuming my statement date is 15 Dec 2010
I have transaction rebates of 5% amounting to RM120 on 1 Dec 2010 , I am still entitled to another RM120 rebate from 16 Dec 2010 - 15 Jan 2011 statement. Sorry a bit "cheong hei" here but I really wanted to make sure cos planning to max the 10% for bill payments.

Your disclaimer is noted  smile.gif
*
if your concerned is about the 10% discount then u are save as the additional 3% will only be given in Jan stateemnt smile.gif which i believe is not included in the RM50/120 promotion.

I have a friend that used his credit card more than 1 year 3 months already. He want apply MAYBANK using his existing card from CIMB bank.

Recently CIMB bank just upgraded his card to Gold card. Thus, his "valid thru" date change from "09/14" to "12/15" .

do you think he still can apply MAYBANK credit card even though his "valid thru" date has been changed due to upgrading of Gold card? He has been using his card for 1 year 3 months already...
*
no issue for upgraded card, unless new card smile.gif

Can you elaborate ? I changed my statement date upon receiving my card.. still receiving the cash reabate as per normal.

I asked the SC
according to her, once i changed, i will not be able to enjoy to the promotions available as the Tit holder, is not allowed to change the date.

I asked again what's d rationale, and according to her, it is the policy.
