i think so far OCBC offers the longest repayment period
my cc statment is 11 and repayment is on 1 of every month, so a total 21 days compared to my cimb, 17 and repayment date is 1 of every month.

what do u all think?
*
this is weird. My DA card statement is always on 11th and due date is 1st/2nd of next month.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if one loses this hardware token, isn't it dangerous? I mean it's just a small gadget , you might not notice if you have misplaced it. Whereas if you lose your phone, you're most likely to notice the loss sooner.
*
Yes it is risky once the device is lost. But it also brings you convenience of logging in without the need to have mobile phone turned on. Everything has pros and cons.

im just curious, can anybody tell me how the device synchronize with the bank online platform?
*
Yahoo Answers

"... it is not really random at all if you know the formula and only the 'creator' knows the number. The device has a clock that changes to the next number at known time intervals. If you didn't type the number in fast enough, the website would deny access expecting the next number. It is possible to get out of sync and you would need to call into support to get sync'd again."

Hi,

Anyone here encountered wrong transaction amount reflected in the statement while actual swipe amount is another figure?

I pumped RM30 at Esso two days ago, and this morning found out it was reflected as RM40! What do I do now?

Is it printscreen and bring d trxn slip to Mobil and ask for reimbursement?

What number to check the application status of OCBC Titanium CC?
*
Dial 1300 885000
followed by : 1 --> 1 --> 2 --> 4 --> [your IC number] --> 1

You don't need to wait until the automated message ends. You may straight away key in abovementioned numbers in one shot.

call cs see can resolve the problem or not
otherwise, fill in a dispute form & a copy of your transaction slip as proof

This morning CS asked me to settle with Mobil.
Just went to Mobil and discussed the matter. They wanted a copy of my trxn slip and will talk to relevant dept for solution. They(Mobil) need to check their record with the bank, once verified the trxn amount (because Mobil will receive credit from bank), they will settle with me accordingly.

Instead of abovementioned solution, can I instead ask my CC to cancel the false trxn and debit the right amount?

It's very troublesome. It should be the bank who handles everything for you. Your transportation cost and time already cost more than the RM10 reimbursement.
*
you're right. When I talked to the person in charge at Mobil, he was surprised when told that the bank asked me to settle with gas station.

I myself also opine that the bank can actually settle the case very easily, given that I can produce trxn slip as proof.

Say CTB's cash yield = 0.5%, 3x implies 1.5%
3x 3,000 pts = 9,000 pts = +- RM45

Still cannot beat CIMB/DA'sweekend 5% or RM50 per merchant.

But then, the 5% rebate too are applicable only at selected merchants. Besides, i think they did not extend the rebate for ISETAN this time around.
*
Yes, for selected merchants only. Need to think twice before deciding where to shop sweat.gif
All in all, use Citi only at places where CIMB/DA do not give 5% rebate.

With the imposition of GST, we have been seeing more and more card issuers are giving "extra" and offering back to back promotion . Good for all cards uses in general where most of them still pays annual fees. Luckily not all cards users are like you, zenquix, hye, erry, ronnie, David83 and especially winner where we kjnow how to utilize credit cards to our benefits in terms of cash back and some with BT and if all customers like this, banks will be running at a lost. Who was the one that even pay on behalf of others with DA at KFC and share the rebate smile.gif
That was me sweat.gif
10 offers all ended failed.

their CC market is the largest in Malaysia if i'm not mistaken
*
If other banks' cc also employ Evergreen Reward point programme, I bet Citibank will lose some market share.
CIMB/DA cards offer great benefits/rebates, but the worst drawback is its 3-year point expiry period.
SCB also has great dining privileges, but potential applicants could be held back by non-evergreen points.

However, it all depends on the spending amount within this 3 years. Let say the smallest redemption is worth 10,000 pts, which means you gotta spend (10,000 / 36 = RM277.77) per month to gather 10k points before it goes expired.

Citibank never persuaded me to retain their card. I cancelled three Citi cards already.
