I didn't blame them. Just that they did not consider what a loyalty customer is. How much FD I am with them etc...
*
So, it's too late already.
Will you continue using the card until next GST due?

Does anyone know any hidden charges/clause on CC maybank easy payment 0% installment 12 months?

let say we bought notebook worth RM2600, understand that there will be upfront charge. so notebook value + upfront charges. are they any other hidden things that we need to know?
*
Nothing else.
Just make sure you pay the EPP promptly and in full.

Use lo..Already billed and if cancel now, just a waste. Want to wait for their credit of 20% on those petrol I charged last few months.
*
If, I say if. If you didn't forget the GST due date, would you cancel the card to avoid GST?

The RM188 offer is applicable to Business VISA too ?
*
Yup, Business Visa also got RM188.
It's just not applicable to "Principal Classic / Titanium / Preferred World MasterCard / Visa Infinite".

Yes, I will since OCBC and SCB already have great deals and offers.

OCBC - 5% discount and waiver of GST from 1st year onwrds.
SCB - 0.5% discount, plus with reward point + waiver of GST every year.
*
Are u sure SCB waives GST every year? Any condition?

I forgot.. I remembered that they will waive for you every year with phone call and they credit you some bonus or points to offset.
*
That to me is a non-guaranteed waiver. I feel insecure with that uncertainty.

I trust them since they offered my friend the welcome bonus and point to waive the GST recently just an email sent
*
Isn't it too naive?
You and your friend might just be lucky.
If every cardmember gets free points to redeem waiver, then only I will be convinced.

The CL given was double of DA.

so take the platinum?
*
If your Gold card is free-for-life, better check out with CS whether this Plat also FFL.

Citibank does selectively offer FFL cards to existing members. Usually the offer is made through phone conversation.

my current citibank gold also is not free
have to call every year to waive
citibank will never give free for life cars unlike some other banks
now i am not sure about the  current platinum...dunno whether they will waive the fees every yr by request
*
Yes, they do offer free for life cards, but only to selected existing cardmembers. They don't publish this because it's selective offer.

Went to Mobil and wanted to buy 20w-50 engine oil.
Told by cashier that all items in the mart are cash term only.
Took out a RM50 note and a RM5 note to pay for it. mad.gif
Darn, I missed a 5% rebate.

Hi guys, if I want to buy something online (product from oversea) and pay by credit card, which CC is best in terms of admin fee charges and rebate? Thanks!
*
Maybank cc offers 0.5% admin rate; but SCB Platinum earns triple Choice Points from transactions in foreign currency.

i just got my ocbc card sent to me yesterday.applied it 8 days ago at 1u new wing and was surprised to find the card in my mailbox. i was rather taken aback when i didnt receive any calls from ocbc card center to verify my identity or ask any questions regarding myself. it just got approved straight away. hmmm...lousy risk management or they are just desperate? 
*
My application was also approved without a verification call. My card is 2 months old.

Not every applicant wil receive call, I think.

What you need to do is to enroll for online banking and pay using direct debit. This way you won't have to pay for the convenience fee. However, please note that only direct debit from these 5 banks are supported for the time being. The 5 banks are :
- Maybank
- CIMB Bank
- Public Bank
- AMBank
- Bank Rakyat
