luckily i found this thread. ok, i really appreciated if you guys can help me decide.
my budget is around 700, and i still can't decide between
1) nokia 5800 xm
2) nokia E5
3) samsung galaxy 5
my priority was the gps & maps, contacts mgt, organiser, wifi, 3g
others such as bigger screen would be a bonus.
actually up till last week i only think about both of the nokia, until i met a friend who just bought galaxy5. when i play around with the phone, i got really interested, and fell in love with android. and with the price, i said to myself that this is the phone that i want. but that was before i tried the papago where first, it took more than 3 min to lock the position, then the map somehow was mess-up. this the only thing that turn me off.
i went to samsung @ the gardens, mv and ask the sales rep abt this, he said it shouldn't be, bcoz all papago is compatible with g5.
between 5800 and E5, i like E5 bcoz of its pro/business looks, but it only 256color and small scrren, where 5800 kind of more for youngster but it has bigger screen and 16M color, touchscreen sumore.
as for the g5, does g5 really have issue with papago? anybody knows? if not definitely i will pick g5
The Nokia 5800 is said to be "retired" from the Malaysian mobile phone market. Nokia X6 is its successor.
Anyway, if you use Nokia you can have the Ovi synchronization that can synchronize your contacts, calender more easily to online Ovi server. If it is not installed in your phone, Nokia phone switch function could be used to backup your stuff more easily to another Nokia phone.
For the papago, if your friend is using the genuine version, ask him to ask for support.
