anymore suggestion?

for 3g wifi big screen phone around rm500?
*
If can, please jack up the budget a bit. That budget seems to low for the first hand phone with all of the specification.

how much is wave currently????
how about samsung captivate???

Wave is no longer being mentioned or recommended frequently. Now if users have budget, usual recommendation are for iOS or Android.

If users want cheap, the best option is Nokia.

LOL. nvm. was tinking of sacrificing wifi and get 5230

good choice?
*
When i read there is an update in the Ovi maps, Nokia 5230 is excluded because no wifi.

Top up the budget a bit to get Nokia 5800 or Nokia X6, bro.

QUOTE(hazelnut58 @ Dec 10 2010, 11:17 PM)
er, bcoz his requirement is not apps or games...
just plainly wat a phone can do normally and he loves music so i recommend wave since wave come with a very nice earphone >.<
wave price can go garage sales check >.<
ya, u can. ^^
*
The issue is that his budget is quite limited. Anyway, Samsung Wave first hand is RM 500? I am not very familiar with the Samsung hp prices.

which one is better, nokia n97 mini, nokia n97 or nokia n900?
looks like the major diff between both n97 and n900 is the platform, maemo 5 and symbian..can anyone what's diff and which one is better?
*
Do not use the N97. It is not good. Go for the N900.

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Dec 11 2010, 08:58 PM)
For me of course nokia N900. Can OC can install multiple OS, less laggy compare to N97, Nice internet connectivity load as fast as your pc load

Added on December 12, 2010, 8:39 am

Hmm. How many firmware updates were there for the vivaz pro?
*
How does that matter? The main concern is that any bugs present in the vivaz last released firmware will remain there until the handphone is out of action. doh.gif

Nokia 5800 battery life is not very good.

Care should be taken when buying second hand phone to ensure that the seller provide as it stated.

QUOTE(blueprint @ Dec 16 2010, 11:31 PM)
luckily i found this thread. ok, i really appreciated if you guys can help me decide.

my budget is around 700, and i still can't decide between
1) nokia 5800 xm
2) nokia E5
3) samsung galaxy 5

my priority was the gps & maps, contacts mgt, organiser, wifi, 3g
others such as bigger screen would be a bonus.

actually up till last week i only think about both of the nokia, until i met a friend who just bought galaxy5. when i play around with the phone, i got really interested, and fell in love with android. and with the price, i said to myself that this is the phone that i want. but that was before i tried the papago where first, it took more than 3 min to lock the position, then the map somehow was mess-up. this the only thing that turn me off.

i went to samsung @ the gardens, mv and ask the sales rep abt this, he said it shouldn't be, bcoz all papago is compatible with g5.

between 5800 and E5, i like E5 bcoz of its pro/business looks, but it only 256color and small scrren, where 5800 kind of more for youngster but it has bigger screen and 16M color, touchscreen sumore.

as for the g5, does g5 really have issue with papago? anybody knows? if not definitely i will pick g5

The Nokia 5800 is said to be "retired" from the Malaysian mobile phone market. Nokia X6 is its successor.

Anyway, if you use Nokia you can have the Ovi synchronization that can synchronize your contacts, calender more easily to online Ovi server. If it is not installed in your phone, Nokia phone switch function could be used to backup your stuff more easily to another Nokia phone.

For the papago, if your friend is using the genuine version, ask him to ask for support.
