they said for internet surfing better use android...

and bada...still very new, so not sure about it...
but i rarely use application...so as long as it support flash, i doesn't care whether only few application it support.

xperia X10 camera is good but other spec is not very good...doesn't meet my minimum requirement laugh.gif
*
Indeed. Android is good in surfing when compared to the Symbian.

But Bada and Android are still fairly new.

Nothing is perfect. Try to think of why you must have that requirement or not. Last time, when it was first released, it is about 2.4k back then. Now the price is halved.

Otherwise, wait for sometime for better choice.

so when u planning a nite time shoot, the pic will be very dark sweat.gif

I don't like gambling, when lose...omg doh.gif
when win... drool.gif

don't want HTC, i already compare most of it around the same price, captivate is very very worth it...( lack of LED flash = not perfect already)
second is the samsung wave...

if samsung wave 2 support flash, i go for wave 2...
if captivate can get it fixed easily at malaysia, then i go for captivate...
*
Always remember that the phone camera is only meant for close range snapping only. LED flash should be able fulfill your requirement.

Nothing is 100% perfect.

Hi, I am first time new user here in lowyet forum.

Well, I just lost my phone.. again..
Thus, I am going to buy a new handphone, but I don't know which phone i should buy..

I used Nokia phone all the time and I getting used to Nokia phone function.
1st phone - Nokia 3220
2nd phone - Nokia 6120c
3rd phone - Nokia 5530 music xpress

Thus, maybe I am planning to buy Nokia phone again or maybe try another brand..
My last phone that I lost is Nokia 5530 music xpress, it was fine to me, but the only problem i don't like with it is the camera quality..

Therefore, I am asking anyone out there whether can recommend me any good handphone with good camera and wifi that is around RM800..
What I want best for my phone is..

- take decent photos to upload to FB, twitter,
- have wifi
- good battery life
- either touch screen or keypad is ok for me

Thank you very much~ ^^

For the first hand phone, Nokia X6 16 Gb should be within reach for the original handsets for your budget.

X6 or N97-mini, which one u recommend?
*
N97 mini will be slightly out of budget if you only want first hand.

I wonder can is there any Apple Peel sold in Malaysia that can convert Ipod Touch in iPhone.. If yes, what do you all think if I just buy that as a new phone? Hahaha~ =P
*
If can, try to avoid using this kind of stuff in the primary phone. Apple stuff is well known for its brand name and usually it won't be cheap.

Alright then, may i know how much is the n97 mini on the market nowadays?
Also the price of the N900~
Thanks~ =)
*
The first hand price is about below 1.1k for sure. It also depend on your hunting skills as well.

N900 seems to be out of stock for now since many seller does not put up their price.

I think now the price is lower ald. Just search around for more information if you want. By the way, N900 runs on different OS.

What do you mean by unpleasant situations??
*
Means when you negotiate, do not press them too hard and in a rude way. Later only god knows that they have in mind to "punish" you. shocking.gif

QUOTE(alexdark @ Feb 17 2011, 04:01 PM)
captivate everything ok, but no flash light, and get repair issue...

wave 2 got flash light, got local service support but using bada...

anybody can decide for me?
*
Hmm,

It is up to you to decide which feature you really need to use. it is hard for me to choose those 2 options as well.

Bada OS is new and not too popular. However, getting repair just in case anything happen also an issue as well.

which one should i get nokia 5800, SE X10 mini, Nokia c5-03, Samsung galaxy 5, or samsun wave s533.

all which its price range from 550 to 650. which is the best?
*
QUOTE(wuwah @ Feb 19 2011, 02:42 PM)
galaxy 5 if screen size doesn't matter to u. only let down IMO is the low resolution, and the plasticky build and poor camera.

best camera there is X10 mini. but, it is very mini! sad.gif

maybe u can forget about C5-03 (symbian^1. bit slow.. UI is not really perform) and 5800 (production stop.). wave, well, i can't say anything as IMO, bada OS still need times to grow. and I'm not really suggest to test that platform yet, unless u have money to change often, u can try i guess.
*
Indeed. The X10 mini is real mini.

For me, Samsung is just testing the bada OS in the market. Not many device is being installed with this OS.

Nokia 5800's production is stopped already, but it has been sold 9 million units worldwide as at the November 2009. Nokia should be taking care this large pool of user by providing more software update for it. However, i doubt it is in the range of your budget except for the 2nd hand Nokia 5800.

1. Brand = Any
2. Budget = ~1.5k
3. Specs = Very good camera
4. Type/Size = Any

Top of my mind is taking quality photos with my phone.
Xperia ARC any good?

Recommend me any current/ available soon phones. TY =)
*
I guess when SE Xperia Arc is being released, the price should be over your budget.

If you are real serious about getting a good camera phone, N8 seems to be a good choice now.

Just take a look at the Aspire2006 posts in this thread to see how good the N8 picture quality can be.

Then how about the choices for quality photos?  sweat.gif
Actually i'm very confused bout types of phones in the market now... My current and only phone is Sony W810i.
Been doing some reading and... confused!  rclxub.gif
Android? Wins7? etc etc?

What's all these?  wink.gif

Android, Windows Mobile and Symbian are the name of the smartphone OS.

Most of the Nokia smartphone is using the Symbian OS. However, Android OS provide better UI and websurfing experience when compared to Symbian.

OS stands for the Operating System.
