WP7 OS looks good actually. To me it looks "bad" because of the restriction.

Also, I think the tiles are just plain ugly.

Hello peeps, was wondering is anyone of u getting a screen protector for your N8? Any brand to recommend? Was at Low Yat just now the normal ones they sell are RM5 per piece for N8.

Do we need the screen protector ? what with the gorilla glass and all. I've asked my ipong 4 friends and they said they did, just to be "safe" more than actual worry of scratches.

Anyway, gorilla glass is not scratch resistant but crack resistant. Glass strength is determined by it's resistance to crack (failure) on how it can resist crack propagation from surface flaws.

Gorilla glass have a deep compressive strength layer which helps to reduce cracks be disallowing crack propagation after surface flaws such as chips and scratches. Scratch resistance is due to tempered glass which is separate from Corning's Gorilla glass process.

Also you can be safer with the N8 due to it having a non-flush glass with the metal band and also all around protection by the metal. This significantly reduces risk of cracked glass.
