for the 1st pic, i think becos of the uv filter at the lens
i din remove it, the filter was suppose to be for M8 punya pasal, but this was shot on the M6, hence the magenta cast i suspect

how did u kaler correct the 2nd one? can share share?

i think it's not called UV filter. M8 need a special filter (IR filter) to reduce the infrared or something like that

Wow... Thanks for all the info and advise. Will give it a good consideration and some research first.

And since askar_lcy mentioned about Nikon and I realized many forummers here are using Nikon, I tried my luck to search for any Nikon SLR and came upon Nikon FM10. The package included Nikon FM 10, Lense, Nikon Bag, Casing for FM 10. The price offered is Rm 420 as well. In comparison between Minolta X300 and Nikon FM10, is Nikon a better recommendation if I plan to stick to only 1 camera?
*
nikon FM 10 is nothing like FM 2.
well, the design is much the same but FM 10 is made by using a lot of plastic. the only metal part is the strap eyelet i think lol

Great to see ppl still actively trying to buy film cameras and using them. I've been trying to help the film community grow for years. Nice to see that it's working.

Next step, alternative photography! Wet plate anyone? tongue.gif

wooo... wat are those? those direct print? for ur LF camera?
*
rx330, you are so dead now. hahaa

direct print is like slides. a positive film. except that this is prints. means photos. notice what yoong posted earlier? the black and white photo?
all photo papers are negatives coz films are negatives.

but what if you want to use papers as your 'film'? you can't use the normal type because it will give you a negative result.
that is when the positive (direct print) comes along.

For the amount I shoot (and the fact I malas sendiri process), I'll quickly go pokai shooting slides. Or shooting Porta/Ektar/400H/160C,S for that matter lol. They're at least twice the price of my Superia stock.

What to do, poor but still wanna shoot analog.

But yeah, I'll have to digress. If I shoot landscape I'll prolly want some Ektar myself. That thing is as punchy as negatives get. I also have 2 boxes of 400H that I can never bring myself to shoot lol. Sayang.

Use the same superia. Scanned it. Slide the saturation bar to 5 on Adobe Photoshop. You have the Extar's result now.
