i maybe going into film
any advice from the shifu here?
im located in jaybee, seems like film developing may be an issue, thinking of getting a scanner, any rekomendation?

-epson v300, v700

-canon fotoscan series

How much silver is used in film?

If anybody wants to dev B&W films, I do it for a fee. I also print them on traditional paper. As well as BW dev/print workshops. Next one on 7th and 8th May.

can straight scan to soft copy?

No. You need to develop to get the images. You just dont need to print.

Yes. it needs to go through the chemicals to make the latent images become solid images.

All films need to be developed. Just that BW films you can do it at home with minimal costs, color need more costs for home developing.

i went through my house and found these two. and suprisingly the top one has a Kodak Gold 200 in it from god knows when. bought the battery and cant wait to finish and see whats in it
