u may try search for these scanner models:

-epson v300, v700

-canon fotoscan series

hope this will help ya. bump for analogue fotographers!

greenroad town got 1 old camera shop, the uncle there still do develope service for a cheap price. after developed the film, he will put it into film develope. not like other shop just throw the films together.

u can ask him for latest price.

I went to Empress Studio at India Street and it wasn't too bad (RM22 for 2 rolls with scanning).

wonder actually how many outside still shoot film? especially in malaysia? in China, film photography is still very popular.

=)

i live in ipoh, owaz can see 2 photographers carry film tlr and slr to shoot street. met them few times, but never got chance to know them though.

before this i know there is a group of film photographers known as LomoHunter in Sarawak. Dunno how is their activity now? u usually shoot at kuching which area ya? hehe... maybe next time go kch can yamcha yamcha when meet la.

how big is the image file they scanned? in my area, shop scan usually juz around 400kb~600kb, barely enough for online upload only. resolution so low...

RM 24..... so expensive... some camera shop just simplay potong ppl. i suggest find old camera shop to do process. for scanning, perhaps we only can rely on scanners that we bought. shop scan quality is unreliable.
