Fariq,

My 033 is on the super oyster bracelet:) the stock bracelet I threw away a long time ago. Junk.

Those NATO/Zulu straps are cheaper everywhere else.haha.but some cheap ones are of lousy quality. I've tried from diff sources,I can safely say that "strap market" from Spain I think,is best. But not many choices tho.

well, for this, i'd say pop out the bezel, see if theres any build up of dirt. cos this uses a click ball, there tends to be dirt clogs. if its clean, might just need some lube. i used wd40 on a cotton bud. a little on the click ball, a little on the underside of the bezel.

roger that...thanx fluffy, will do that once I get home... right now my watch requires Mutant Powers to turn the Bezel.

Ahhh the super oyster...did you use the stock end links or the S.O end links?

worth it?
worth it I guess, depends do you use the chrono funtion often?
any comment on this watch?
I have always liked the 7T62 movement. very useful. biggrin.gif
hardly to see this in malaysia so far
There are numerous 7T62/7T92 models from Seiko.
shud be quite old model i think?
define old. the design looks quite new. maybe 5-6 years old? this was my very first Seiko about 5 years ago...

Just got a Seiko Orange Monster  rclxm9.gif
Way to go bro... mind sharing how much you got it for? i notice monster prices fluctuate quite a lot. I was once offerred a monster on rubber for only RM450 while some places would go no lower than rm800. sticker price is also about RM1k plus rclxub.gif

how to identify original seiko stargate? whats the packaging like?
*
is there a fake stargate going about?

I dont quite fancy the stargate though coz the misaligned 12 O'clock marker on the bezel would drive me nuts!! rclxub.gif

Anyways Happy 100th page Seiko Thread rclxm9.gif

Fluffy : nice mesh. can try and see how it looks on ur SKX033?

hmmm dont think the monster looks nice coz its 20mm. but the Sub looks cool.

this is also why I used a modified 22mm tyre strap on my spork especially because of the large size of the watch

^ I think...its ugly... whats with the colour combi mann?? dont like the fat hands too.

its not astetically pleasing to my eyes...

I saw a Seiko Auto Chrono once at Amcorp Flea market shown to me by a fellow Seiko WIS. it was going for around RM4k ish if I remember correctly.

You dont see much of Seiko Auto Chrono's nowadays

there were quite a few of them in the 80's though, bullhead, helmet, panda and I still feel they look better sweat.gif

any 7T62 movement would do. depending on the design. I dunno RM400-500 ish?

I'm not sure if the new seiko solar chronos have alarm. if it does i'd go for this.... go green!

Nice info bro adrian...

I can't believe that even the casio F-91W is faked?? whats the margin like??

Hmm for eco-drives I guess the only way to test it out is to keep it in total darkness and see the second hand ticking in 2-second intervels (low battery indication)

Relieved that my eco-drive had the low battery indication when I got it from the mail.

hey guys, im thinking about getting an auto diver then swapping in a nato strap .. any suggestions and picture references i can work on? my budget is approx 500 for the watch itself coz i heard its around there?
*
if you are thinking of natos than I suggest you for the 22mm lug divers. for RM500 perhaps you can go for an SKX007 and then pair it with a bond nato brows.gif

Good morning peeps, Just got back from singapore last weekend on a lightning trip to universal studios,

Didn't get a chance to browse on watches so much but here are my findings, only got to browse at Lucky Plazy on Orchard Road. Any other other places good for watches at Singapore?

Anyways here are my findings on some seiko's that I rare find here in KL.

Seiko Orange Starfish on Z20 rubber flat vent strap . asking for SD 450.00

Seiko Orange Sawtooth Automatic on SS bracelet asking for SD 500.00

Seiko SHC045/047P1 small sized quartz diver (first time I have seen this in person) looks like this : user posted image

For the Seiko 10 bar hunters. (I refuse to call it Seiko Submariner coz I think minus the bracelet, Seiko did a good job on this watch smile.gif )

I found a brand new SKX033 on display two in fact one on rubber and one on bracelet. The braclet was priced at SD375 while the rubber was SD335 they even had a mid-sized SKX023

the funny thing is even though the seiko 10 bars were new the red and blue on the bezel has faded tremendously. I wonder if its a batch thing will it eventually do that coz the display only sat under normal tungsten light.

anyways always happy to share my findings cos for now I am very content with my baby below :
