what i meant was, as stated by catnip... if there is anything wrong with my movement and say if it is no longer in production... they won't replace the movement for me... sad.gif

Like I said. Don't worry about it. Yours is powered by a Citizen Cal. No. 0510. It also designated as Miyota 0S10 movement for non-Citizen watches and it is still being produced today. Getting one should not be a problem.
I don't know about the production status of your watch model, AN880-57E. Are you sure that model is obsolete?
Yup, out of warranty. All quartz these days are using 0 jewels but mine is a obscure Citizen Cal. No. 1250A 2 jeweled quartz. Doing research and gathering info before taking further steps.

ah..... the movement is still being produced... icon_rolleyes.gif

Seiko watch starters beware... I found a fake SKX009. it was selling for RM280 only  rclxub.gif

I looks very convincing with lume and also uses an automatic movement. even the caseback was convincing with 7S26 and seiko divers 200m marking and even the tsunami logo.

this the watch : [attachmentid=2801159]

can you guess what were the giveaways that showed it to be fake?

all the hands seems to be shorter...? hmm.gif

actually another thing no one really mentioned.
the Ray crystal is better made than Mako...the angle on the edges is same with the bezel, so feels more smoother.
the Mako crystal stands up straighter, so can really feel the edge of it.

water resistance wont be lost cos i wont do it myself tongue.gif

you pull out the middle knob 2 step. Press and hold the upper button long enough where the hand will goes 1 round. Press the lower button click by click to adjust the hand location. Press and hold the upper button again if you wish to adjust another hand. Finally remember to press back the middle knob else your watch resistance = 0.
