Bad news. I was at 12 meters underwater for two hours doing lifting, and when I surfaced the crystal of my SKX007J is foggy. I found out that its' screwdown crown was not fully tightened.
Now the fog is gone, however my main concern is the damages done to its' internal parts. Saltwater is a real b**** when it comes to eating equipment, we all know that. So what are my options here? I'm two months away from home and I have no idea where to send the watch for proper servicing in WA. |

it really depends, i could have worn the watch the whole day but with not much movement, it will still go stiff the next day. my experience 7S26 takes a while to wind fully.
max i've gotten is about 1 day and a half. +/- 36 hours. apparently i read somewhere power reserve was supposed to be 40 hours +? i might be reading the wrong article. |

I'm two months away from home and I have no idea where to send the watch for proper servicing in WA. ask them to check for you, but the service charge for sure is >RM200. Here is my current watch, but the glass cracked already.... Thinking to get new one or change the glass to saphire glass.... Stargate or Black Monster better? i'd say monster. stargate is a little pricier. uses 7S36. might as well get the monster, IMHO looks better, feels better.
-edit- just got my baby monster yesterday.. love it. ![]() This post has been edited by fluffy6640: Oct 11 2011, 09:04 AM |
