pepsi's lume, is it good? anywhere near monster's lume?
*
personally, not anywhere near monster's lume. from my experience, the monster would come 1st, then the mini monster, then the 009.

With that picture of the pepsi's lume, I have already almost made up my mind. Thanks!

Btw, what's the sensible price to pay for the seiko Pepsi? Same range as the blue mako?

I do appreciate a great pic like that. But I would not make up my mind based on the lume in that pic. Cos as usual, not closing the shutter will make the lume really handsome.correct me of I'm wrong.im no camera guy;p

Sadly, the lume is adequate on the 009/007. Not madly bright.

And for the pricing,a decent online/eBay/chronograph.com/creation watches/etc would be about 500-600rm. For a retail grey market shop, about 700-800rm. For those normal retail shops, about 900-1k depending on discount.

Compared to the mako? Id still say the Pepsi gets my vote. Simply because of built and looks. Very classic. Very versatile.

the pepsi is SKX009. the normal black one is SKX007. oh ya, the lume is from a kinetic. oops.

From the picture, i can assume that the photo taken with 2 sec shutter speed to get such a luminant effect.

well, so far i'd say ebay auctions are the best way to grab seikos. that's cos the amount of sellers are a plenty. and shipping costs arent that bad. on average its about 28USD for EMS via fedex. amazon i tak suka. annoyingly hard to know whats the shipping cost, and whether they ship to malaysia. (sorry amazon users).

but for the pepsi, i grabbed it in a shop located in KL. to be honest, knowing i could have gotten Rm100+ less on ebay, was a little disappointing. it comes down to preference. i prefer buying online cos of the awesome prices and its fun just refreshing the tracking page. haha. drool.gif

guys, where can i repair my watch which has got water in it now?
i bought a pulsar, which is from the same company as seiko, right?
and how much is it to restore it's water resistant function?
owh and my location is johor bahru..
thanks yaa..
*
i am not sure ur pulsar is with seiko, as far as i know alba is with seiko. If got water in it you better send to shop fast. Send back to where you bought it, if you really sure pulsar is with seiko, you can always sent to seiko authorize dealer. Normal shop can help you with the water resistance also, depends on where the water goes in, normally because of the back rubber is loose. Replacement of rubber will do. However, there might be other places where water will go in as well.
