I do leave Samsung Task Manager alone though. I don't know if it can be uninstalled. Music player and Internet, I do fully close it after use.

No specific settings that I can recall. I didn't even change 2G/3G settings manually. I think it is auto but 3G signal in my house is weak. I guess it might be using 2G most of the time. Using default twlauncher.

It doesn't last long when it is new. When I just got the phone, I just keep charging the battery. Charge, take out, play a while, about 90%, I charge it full again. After a week of repeated rapid charging, the battery indicator hardly falls.

No, I don't really overcharge and I unplug upon full charge. I watch the voltage so that it does not exceed 4200mV for too long.

Maybe my batterystats.bin is messed up but one day, if the phone died while showing 30% remaining, I'll report in. biggrin.gif

MSN messenger on Android does not run on push system, so far none does so. There are other messenger that does push notification like whatsapp.

Composite cable. The output that we can get out of SGS at the moment is not digital high definition yet.

My SGS's market also got updated silently like many others mentioned. Without any hack, I can see paid apps in RM

singtel animation.

If you dare to flash the bootloader, you can fix it. I took the risk and flashed both PBL and SBL. Now my SGS has recovery/download mode.

My calender is synchronised to Google Calender and Facebook. There seems to be incomplete synchronisation with Facebook events and calender. Some friend's birthday doesn't appear for god knows what reason. Some events don't appear until it was 1 day past. Lol.. Not reliable.

Facebook photos does get synchronised to contacts by linking the contacts. No need for apps.

The application will not be able to obtain superuser permission, and hence would fail in its operation. Either way is fine but if you want to play safe, remove the apps first.

Today I went to Titiwangsa from Puchong. Previously I reported that the GPS never get to lock for >30 minutes. Today it was great. Instant lock, very good accuracy, no jumping, lagging and drifting of the map. I haven't changed anything though. The GPS must be very temperamental.
