hi ppl...just wanna ask around as i'm interested to start FF14....
how is the connection/latency like to server you're currently playing?
does it require any form of proxy or tunnel to improve the gameplay?

this is becoz currently im playing other MMO (server in US) which requires a form of proxy or i cant play.

FFXIV host their servers in JPN, you will get a good ping here. Lag is norm in crowded area. EU/NA/JPN play in same server, so you will not notice any decrease in player base as one side go sleep, the other wake up, and vice versa.

NA based on exchange rate, you save a little bit more compared to EU ^^

better play NA version, if u already got installer go with buddy pass, if not just buy new SE 1 for 160, saving u the time to download 5gb installer.

and better play NA version, because u will be able to use crysta, and crysta can be buy by using emolepoint, which saving us the time to get verified by visa card.

OMG... A week without FFXIV Damn, courses is over but work piled over my desk I guess it's a few days more without eorzea... Man, I'm getting left far behind... And what is this fuss about buddy pass? People start selling it now?
