There's being a lot of reviews i've seen about this phone lately, especially in magazines and n/papers, quite impress with the promotions and advertising by Samsung. I am not an owner of the G5 yet, but this is what i have to say...

To be honest, i really love the Galaxy S (coz one of my fren is using it), that is 1st time a had the experience to "play" with an Android. Its feels amazing and mesmerized with the smooth flow of the OS. Then later, my office mate bought this G5 and introduce it to me....well and there where its all started...i cannot stop playing with it !! and love is in the air...... not to say i am a nokia fanboy, but I think it is time to "jump ship" to another OS platform.

Only the downsize of this phone is the screen width and the camera..........that's all??!! I think.. The pros, wow I can't think enuff about the apps...there is hundreds or hundred thousands and counting... The OS, so smooth almost like and Iphone, or better? hehe..

At the moment, I think this is only an Android that suits my budget (at the moment) or maybe an introduction to the world of Android. Who knows its going to be galaxy S or next..

This threads gonna help so many G5 user's out there, (and the Androids user of coz)...congrats to all Admins here..impressive.

and now the only thing is waiting for my salary only....aiyoh..aredi excited..LOL.

anyone got idea/way to connect g5 with notebook internet connection, broadband/wifi? using notebook as gateway?

3.Racing game like NFS and Raging Speed are able find in the thread (posted by me), I tested the RealSoccer 2010, running smooth but you only can play via accelerator since G5 does not support multi touch...........w/o multi touch, football game is not recommend

No ideal about this, using notebook as gateway need a network adaptor which support AP wireless function, most of the notebook not support.

To G5 user who facing GPS lock on problem... Please follow this step by step instruction...
1. Go to gps setup menu by keying in *#*#1472365#*#*
2. Go to SETTINGS\PARAMETER SETTINGS\POSITION MODE and choose OPTION3
3. Then go back to GPS SETUP main menu
4. Choose gpsOne XTRA
5. Choose Xtra Enable then choose ENABLE
6. Then click on TRIGGER DOWNLOAD 2~3 times
7. Thats all.. after doing this procedure you will notice a speedier gps lock on...

8. But please remember to do the 'TRIGGER DOWNLOAD' once a week because the downloaded file is only valid for a week

Thats all and i hope all G5 owner will enjoy your device more...

1) long press on the text input area -> choose input method -> DioPen Chinese IME
2) by pressing on the settings icon on your keyboard, you can choose different keypad types. so, lets say if you are using either qwerty/3x4 keypads, by pressing on the button which you could switch between alphabet/numbers/symbols, you'll be able to choose also either to use Stroke (only available for 3x4 keypads) or Pinyin for chinese input

Just go to handphone shop simply choose a pouch will do.............i using nokia 5800 pouch

interested in getting tis phone, so wan to ask is tis phone nice?
of coz cant compare wit those pricey one, but at least i wish to knw is it a good to use phone? user friendly? or any significant problems?

i notice one thing, when type message, the touch screen keyboard (when in vertical position) can be change between qwerty style and normal phone 12 buttons style?

somehow, are most of the apps are supported on the phone? (not concerning abt games)
