Hi All,

I have just bought G5 few days ago. So far it's a great phone for me~!!

Anyway, I am having one problem with the WiFi, not sure if I have missed out any settings. I can connect to my WiFi at home without problem. When I tried it outside, lets say Starbucks, it shows that I am connected to the WiFi. But when I try to access to the internet, it shows that there is no data connection. My husband tried to use the same WiFi with his HTC Wildfire, he has no problem at all. Could anyone help here?

Another thing is, anyone know in Klang Valley, where can I get the screen protector and casing/pouch for this baby? Thanks~!!
dzart: to disable the vibrate when using the keyboard, go to Settings->Sound & display settings -> Uncheck Haptic feedback

keagan, thanks. what i mean is when i looked at the wildfire screen, something is wrong, like not sharp at all. just wonder is the galaxy 5 screen sharp?

Can you guys play Quake3 and Armageddon Squadron? Or any other 3D game?

I think 3D game is not playable as it does not have a GPU embedded.
Games that support QVGA reso shouldn't be any problem.

It happens to my HTC Legend also at times. I guess there is something wrong with its server.

Long press the "text input box", you can change the input method

G3 will get the froyo on Dec...............not sure whether g3 in malaysia market...........i heard that retail price RM1199

yest i went and testdrive the phone. very smooth and nice, like it. got an offer of rm580, set comes with the white backplate. felt tempted to buy, but when i asked him is it come together with the 2gb microsd card, he said no. so is the microsd card bundled together with the set or otherwise?

he said ori set..1year warranty from samsung, but when i asked where is the 2gb card, he said no card given. that's y im puzzled..

I thought this phone CPU is Qualcomm MSM7227 that comes with Adreno 200 GPU? Hehe

anyone here using kies? how do i set g5 to kies insted of mass usb storage,where do i set it? i check at the setting,i dont see any option.

when you plug-in the usb cable connect with your computer, there will be a popup on your phone with the kis and mass usb storage options. you choose from there then you'll see it on your computer

I just got my phone back from Samsung Service Centre..... Now facing problem sending MMS

I needed the settings for Maxis..... have tried to manually enter the figures but can't seem to make it work.... Should I use (internet + mms) under APN Type or should I do the entry individually?

P/S - I always off my 3G
