Erm, u guys could enquire about the casing by PM the thread owner. As far as i know there is only one case which fit our phone, only black colour is available.

Added on November 5, 2010, 9:48 amIndeed, some black berry like the curve has suckier screen resolution than G5. 65k colour only. The only fun thing about blackberry and iphone is the pink chat, i was searching for the app but couldnt find it.

I've had this phone for 3 weeks, but still I can't get GPS to work!

I've installed Papago X5, and to the extend that letting my GPS on for 3 hours, but it can't get the satellite to lock!!!!!!!

Someone please help me!!

Yeah, Pingchat lets us "bbm" with other platfrom , BB & Iphone..whcih a great..i oredi tested with two BB user and one G5 user..work perfectly.

Its take me a while yesterday just to find a SP for my G5, then found it they sell it at rm 20 ! WTH..not so special la..just with anti-fingerprint only..lol

Is the epikcase oredi avalable for our G5? scared it felt down laa...at least got protection..

For me, just use the cheapest pouch/case and SP since our phone is cheapest phone.................haha

here for your reference, might can help

Do remember, G5's GPS unable lock satellite in indoor, pls test it outdoor

1.Go to "Setting" - Location & Security - Use Wireless Networks(always keep tick)
2.Go to "Setting" - Location & Security - Use GPS Satellite (always keep tick)
3.Go to Android market download and install the apps "GPS Booster"
4.Restart phone
5.Go to outdoor (without tall building surrounding within 100m)
6.Open Papago

1st 1-3 times might need longer locking time, later will get better and better

Optional : You can download "GPS Test" at Android market to view the satellite connection status

I planning to get this G5, seem like this phone is not bad
I'm wondering can this phone connect directly to the PC thru the USB cable, like mount its internal & external memory or it need to use the Samsung Kies only can ar??

Any of you experience the below problem?

G5 built in e-mail (not Gmail) could not fetch attachment from other e-mail senders unless they are using plain text (not HTML or Rich Text) or else the attachment that I received was the Android with the description of winmail.dat and when i clicked open and save the attachment just could not be fetched.

Yes, will detect as USB storage without any driver/software install.............

If connect as Samsung KIES, its need driver...........you will prompt to choose as USB storage or Samsung KIES during connection
