not sure what you mean by dirty places but no I didn't go anywhere else after Christmas break.
yeah maybe it's psychological problem. this week had been very stressful to me early year got so many forms and plans to submit hence I had trouble getting good sleep. last night ok,I managed to doze off early after long tiring day

so far no bad dreams or seeing 'things' yet. hopefully my brain will remain stay like this

My office got pray Dato every friday.
So every once awhile the guard will see someone in the kilang during their nite rounding.
How to know if its Dato or is it other entity.

This one come from a colleague of mine.

When he wasa kid, the guy stayed with his family in some apartment in PJ. One day, someone (middle aged woman if i remember correctly) suicide by jumping from the top floor. The incident was quickly gotten over with though.

But my colleague then started to have sleep paralysis episodes. Often, he would wake up in the middle of the night, unable to move for 30 mins to an hour. To him, it felt like eternity. Most of the time, the episodes were not so scary, but he often felt like he was being watched.

The most scary episode was when he kena paralysis again, he heard footsteps outside his room, walking towards his door. He also felt got some kind of apparition but can't tell what it is. Then, this "thing" walked though his door, he can't see anything, but he can hear the foot steps as the "thing" moves next to his bed.

At this point, my colleague want to scream, but cannot do so. Then he told me that for a moment, be thought he saw (or hallucinate) the suicide victim's face, and it sure scared him quite badly.

Suddenly, he could move and rush to on the lights. The episode stopped and he slept in his parents room right after.

He has since moved from the apartment rd. Not sure if these episodes are related to the suicide. If so, then I wonder if any of the current residents ever experienced it.

Well that is basically what sleep paralysis is, right?

My house is very nearby to a big mosque(2 rows down) Is it true that Mosque has a "special" barrier that they put around the houses nearby the mosque? Sometime when i drive home from Ulu yam or genting, i will feel something is sitting beside me or behind me. Once i reach home i dont feel it anymore. My chinese neighbour told me about this barrier but i just want to double confirm... around my house area also got dato kong

The Use Of Incense Joss Stick: (香).

So many people would thinking that incense joss stick were the food for offering either for deities, spirits or ancestors. Incense joss stick is not a food offering meanwhile is a message for human to interact with deities, spirits and ancestors.

Since human being are impossible to direct interact or communicate with the other realm and thats the reason why incense joss sticks were used nowadays. To interact with other realms is required of light (fire) when the incense joss stick were burned.

There is always odd in numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) when using incense joss stick and each number of incense joss stick bring out different meaning as what the message that we want to bring to the other realms.

1 stick of incense joss stick: Greeting (问候香)
Whenever visiting temple or daily use of in household, usually 1 stick of incense joss stick were in used as greeting purpose.

3 sticks of incense joss stick: Request/Activities Purpose. (办事香)
It's common to applied 3 sticks of joss stick where there had any activities purpose such like every first lunar month (初一) or fifteenth lunar month (十五), wedding day or others big festival. Beside festival or celebration, possibly 3 sticks of incense joss stick were applied to the ancestor when request something from ancestors such as blessing example when need to travel far away from home for outstation/oversea.

5 sticks of incense joss sticks: Di Zhu Gong / 地主公.
Only offering to Di Zhu Gong / 地主公 as represent The Five Great Dragon From Five Directions (五方五土龙神).

7 sticks of incense joss sticks: Seeking Help Purpose. (救命香)
Mostly applied for seeking help purpose from the ancestor such as there are babies or small children in family member who often sick/ill or found out there another spirits from outsider in home. When having this kind of incident occur, Light up 7 sticks of joss stick ( with a pair of candles as represent open up the door link to the ancestor realms). Once the ancestor had notice (received the msg), ancestor will came thru the incense pot from their realm and assist at once to figure out what is happening in household.

9 sticks of incense sticks: Emergency Purpose(急救香)
When household had facing some critical situations happening to the family members example battling again life in operations room, 9 sticks of incense sticks and a pair of candles been light up to the ancestor incense pot to called out ancestor for emergency help purpose as ancestor had fully responsible to watch /look after their generations.

yea pagar. not in the physical sense. yes this one normal lah. but if someone hanky panky or drink / eat haram stuff in the mosque the pagar can get weaken.

my story is about 9 years ago.

day 1:
9 years ago, i was asleep around 3am, i heard a scrapping noise outside apartment, so i look out the window to see if there's car theft or something. i was 6th floor up. it was dark outside the car park but occasionally there were cars passing by. from the headlights of car. i see 2 person lit up a candle digging hole. by the road side. i'm sure they are human. i thought they were foreign labors digging hole to bury dead fetus or something. but when car passes by, they were calm and continues to dig without fear.

so i continue to sleep knowing the sound were someone digging a hole. but. as i went back to bed, i notice at the back of my head that i thought i saw some "fireflies". so i got up again, and have a look. yup, indeed i saw some "fireflies". that's cool. never expect in the mid of the city i'd see "fireflies". so i got back to bed again to sleep.

the more i think the more it doesn't make sense. fireflies is greenish color, and blinks at a very fast speed. but, the one i just saw, was 'fire' (orange/yellow) color... and it dims. not blink. probably different species of fireflies illuminate differently. this is the species i never seen before in my life? probably i saw it wrongly.

so i got up again to clear my doubts. yup, indeed "fireflies" were there, like 7 or 9 of them. i was 6th floor up, how come the insect could illuminate such bright lights. its wasn't very bright, but, i mean. the night was dark and i was 6th floor up. probably this species lit up brighter? i also checked out the rest of the entire car park for other fireflies but. there WEREN'T any. the "fireflies" were SURROUNDING the couple.

this does not make sense. why would the "fireflies" surround the couple. and they were kept at a distance. about 10 feet diameter. circling the couple and a candle in the middle. i observed for about 5 minutes. there were about 7-9 of them. it was about 3:20am by then i had to get some sleep for work the next day.

Day 2:
told 2 housemates bout what i saw explained as above details, they say i'm crazy, indeed i think i'm too. as i pass by the area where the hole was dug, there's some fresh soil on the ground. a candle too. as what i saw in the dark. there were broken glasses on the floor.
logically, probably it was the reflection of the candle light surrounding the couple. it was 3 am that time. i was probably dreaming. well. probably i was too tired? seeing things wrongly. hmm. i did got up few times to ensure what i saw, and i pretty sure i wasn't dreaming or something. but. well. what i saw doesn't make sense. so i just let it go.

Day 3:
around 745PM, the ambient wasn't that dark yet, 1 of my housemate yell at me to his room, ask me look out the window. the same spot, a couple (chinese), placed a lot of joss sticks and joss papers. many ppl walk by that area. lots of cars drive by too just like any other day. this time, we saw "fireflies" again. i quickly yelled at another housemate who claim to have 3rd eye(3E) and able to see 'things' to join us. then the couple starts burning the joss. i asked my housemates do they see "fireflies" they both responded positive. 3E said he saw another 'girl' in the middle. receiving the burnt items. there were a lot of 'outsiders' trying to get into the circle to snatch the items the 'girl' is receiving. when they try to intrude, they create a 'spark/firefly' ... then after a while, the girl starts to give some 'items' to the 'outsiders' outside the circle. this is when i saw about 30-40 fireflies blinking non stop. some are brighter than the others. we could clearly see a circle of them as the joss were slowly put out, and it was dark again, the "fireflies" were circling the area but getting lesser and lesser.

after the experience, i'm mind fucked. i do not believe in supernatural things, but, this is something i witness without a scientific explanation.

*"fireflies" mentioned here is just a definition of the experience i witness which is closer to the things i encounter in my logical life, it is not an insect.
