Aside the Villa game. It's over and we did what we should do and we only can count ourselves as unlucky side for having so many injured players during that particular week. Let's focus more on CL in mid week or maybe transfer window? laugh.gif

Even if Rooney doesn't want to sign the contract, and if SAF want to get something out of him, it's definitely not us. No one would stupid enough to sell one of the brightest star to rivals so that they'll get their butt whoop the next meeting between two clubs. And I don't think Rooney would want a move to Italy, Spain should be destination for him. Unless he willing to sees off and reject all the negotiation from a number of big clubs, I don't think he'll be feature in BPL in near future (If he moving away from Man Utd).

About RA and Mourinho relationship, it was Shevchenko. Remember the 30 million pound RA spent on Shevchenko without Mourinho's "consent" as a manager of the club? If I'm not mistaken, that's where the relationship broke off. Or else I think we'll have that CL title that season, without a single doubt.

QUOTE(madfag @ Oct 18 2010, 03:14 PM)
i dont know.. i have this feeling that Rooney is the kind of Englishman who wants to stay in England instead of venturing to another country.

well, if Rooney doesnt want to go, the club cannot sell him either right? he might just see off the remainder of his contract and be a free agent.

i dont think he would go to liverpool, being an ex everton and current united player.

i dont think he would go to arsenal either considering the type of football arsenal plays. its just weird.

i dont think he would disrespect united that much to go to city. tottenham and villa arent as big as us either.

i guess all thats left is Chelsea laugh.gif

HAHAHAHAHAH looks like the only destination for Rooney in England only left Chelsea. tongue.gif But I really doubt that but there's possibility UNLESS Rooney sees off his contract and reject all the offers. laugh.gif Italy football is generally slow and I don't think would suit him either. Eto, Millito and Pandev @ Inter, Pato, Ronaldinho, Ibrahimović and Robinho @ Milan. Juventus calling themselves Old Lady laugh.gif. I think Spain would most likely his destination, RM to be exact.

Auguero anyone? laugh.gif

I think the likes of Kakuta, McEachran, Aanholt, Bruma and Borini are already senior squad, just that they were playing at reserve football when all the senior players are fit. Since now our star are either injured or getting rest, CA decided to put them on. Plus, most of our 20+ youngsters are loan out to other club. And yeah I'm with Ichighost on starting XI. I reckon Flomo can deal more damage when he come out 15 minutes after half time.

Like I mentioned before, laugh.gif but never expect they move that fast. RM weighing a move for Rooney. But the bad thing is that they have no place for him, and it's not guaranteed starting XI if he goes to RM. Some other news about Rooney.. Real ready for Roo raid and Citeh is eager to get their hands on Rooney, no matter what it takes.

I think flomo still struggle to find his form after lampard and drogba's absence. He too rely on both of em.

Added on October 20, 2010, 1:08 amAnelka should've score that. No excuse for him, really.

QUOTE(sanfa @ Oct 20 2010, 07:06 PM)
talking but proven, there are several others player that is proven in EPL and cheaper than him for sure.. do I need to list??

darrent bent
kevin davis
santa cruz (this must be really cheap)
belamy (might get him for free)
agbonlahor
*
Players you mentioned, is either not good enough for club like Chelsea, or they are not consistent performer. The MOST consistent performer I can tell is only Crus and Belamy. But both of em are 29 and 31. And since we're trying to look for Drog's replacement, both of em are out of the picture. Bent however, had a good record of scoring last season. If he can replicate his form, I don't see any reason from stopping us to get him. Agbonlahor is still consider Villa's asset, and haven't heard of anything about their financial status. To sign him, would be harder than signing Rooney. hmm.gif

But in Rooney's case, he equested quarter million wage (£250k) from Man Utd. Maybe he doesn't want to stay there anymore that's why he request such big amount of salary to force his way out from Man Utd, who know? As for other players, I'm really keen on signing Torres. tongue.gif One wanting to leave the club, one can't perform under the manager and the club is struggling on league table. I don't think is too wild to dream about them wearing the blues. laugh.gif

Anelka open hand to welcome Rooney to SB.

For yesterday's game, I think everyone deserves the credit. Ferreira again prove to everyone he still have what it takes to challenge Bosingwa for the RB spot. I think Ivanovic gonna be our new Terry soon. wub.gif For midfield we do lack some creativity but after Kalou is back from injury, we do look alot dangerous compare few previous games. Anelka started off slowly but he didn't slack that much. I guess Malouda needs a rest, hes not being the usual Flomo and I guess Zhirkov deserves to start against Wolves this weekend. I know we should not underestimate our opponent but I think our youngsters are ready to be include into starting XI. I'm expecting Kakuta to start if Drogba still not recover from fever. No point putting Malouda again if hes not performing. I'd rather give him some rest, wait for Drogba or Lampard to be back from injury and start scoring goals again. rclxms.gif

Hoping for this to be the starting XI against Wolves;

Cech, Ferreira, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole, Essien, Mikel, Zhirkov, Kakuta, Kalou, Anelka

Subs: Turnbull, Bosingwa, Bruma, Aanholt, McEachran, Borini, Drogba/Ramires depending on who recovers faster.

QUOTE(hidzwan @ Oct 21 2010, 02:52 PM)
the price tag that concerns me.. if utd eventually open to offload him, once City have a hand in the bidding process we can say goodbye already..unless he leave as free agent if he not renewing a new contract..

CA show interest
JT show interest
Anelka show interest
Kalou show interest

he have quite a fan here in London, isn't it?
*
He only can leave as free agent next season summer. I don't mind waiting for another season to get him, but I don't think he can wait. So is either we get him this season or we don't get him at all. Rumors said we getting him for 20 million. Since he is available for 5 million, United already have 15 million extra profit. Yes it's not a big amount of money but I bet they rather sell it to us than selling it to Citeh. Unless they have a way to push him to overseas and imitate his signature, I doubt they can force him out from England. Plus side, so many people are welcoming him at SB.. brows.gif

As for the wage, I think he trying to force himself out from United. To me, he made it seem like he's greedy, wanting more money to stay at United so that United will rather offload him than giving him more money. We'll know if he's greedy by the end of the transfer window by seeing which club he decides to go.

Good la. Let them lose some money and award people like us. biggrin.gif

My prediction lineup;

Cech
Bos, Ivanovic, Terry, Cole
Essien, Mikel, Zhirkov
Malouda, Drogba, Anelka

No matter what happens, I think Malouda is "untouchable" for CA whenever hes available. hmm.gif

Super goal, super teamwork. Bosingwa made a move even commentator say "He goes through the defender like nobody was there". OOOOHHHHHH! We missing Lampard, but with Drogba we're really fired up. Guess both of them are irreplaceable to Chelsea. Zhirkov's assist run was superb, he deserves full credit for the goal. rclxms.gif

Can't really blame him as he just recovered from fever and started training this week. He could've done better, but I'm more than happy what he did today. Everyone performed, we did deliver and got 3 points in the bag. rclxms.gif
