1. Actually, the hardware is there. The software side @ Nokia still x implement that. Closed source for camera caused no n900 dev unable to create apps for this purpose unless Nokia opens later
2. Abit different depends on price you get and the AP company. Mine dun have cloth(which I realised after reading a pages back).
3. Current official firmware right now is PR1.2

2) Depends on the AP company/seller; supposedly it should come full accessories.

4) It may not suit everyone, people are used to "phone" with portrait look; Not much complains if the main UI cannot turn landscape (e.g. iPhone), but people complains if the main UI is landscape mode. Basically, this is an Internet Tablet, think of it as your laptop, which is landscape mode, not imagine the laptop is in the form of N900 with sliding keyboard, and finally imagine this laptop allows you to make phone calls.
Added: As previous post mentioned, another reason is the apps and games; more on games actually because N900 actually have many useful and powerful apps.

About the package content,I got everything like the Ori set + the CA-146C adapter.I'm very satisfied with AP set phone till now.Hopefully nothing will go wrong after this.

You can trust the courier system.It depends on the seller.If the seller is reliable they will make sure you'll get the goods one way or another.
I got my phone by courier too.It was delayed for few days because lack of stock but eventually I got it.

Other than this phone I have bought/sell bunch of other stuff with courier.Every single thing reach the buyer & me without any problem.

Mobile Hotspot or Joikuspot?

Is there a setting that we need to set?

My Laptop has no problems connecting to Joikospot but my Samsung Star Wifi cannot connect to it...
