This is Personal Financial management not BF GF topic.
I juz highligh your money in your pocket when come to spending on relatioship.

As yourself Spending for relationship or Saving for Marrriage ?
Hv to see how much $$$ in your pocket for the relationship before marriage?

talk to your partner - marriage is not 1 person jobs.

As i said alot man with $$$ can replace you.
How strong is her love her when you are worthless one day ?

Marriage is not two person - you also marry their parent.
And she must accept who are you and your family financial background.

Maybe u do a simulation, see how much can u save IF u have to support ur parents.

I only got my dad left, pocket money alone already RM700. Then household bills, telephone bills, his car service bills...easily RM1,000 a month. In other words, if I don't have to support my dad, I also can save RM2,000 a month like u! laugh.gif

You inherit 1/2 house. Not many children inherit such thing. One of them is me.

I have two, so I need RM2m??

Don't worry about the number, just do it accordingly.

No point to worry too much on the future, just work harder and smarter for improving the earnings and manage your money accordingly.

hi..maybe you can think if investing in unit trust which could give you higher returns than normal savings account or even FD. If interested kindly contact me at nitznit@yahoo.com

Furthermore, if you interested in getting tax redemption up to RM3k, you can consider investing in Private retirement Scheme (PRS).

regards
nitz

Hi guys. Does anyone have any recommendation on how to go about with tracking personal finances (expenses, incomes, etc.)?
For eg., keep track of your investments and its profit/loss, incomes from savings such as FDs, and your misc. expenses.
I'm looking more at a software or excel spreadsheet.
Also, what's your experience for those currently already practising keeping tabs on your portfolios?

Thanks.
