Just started in shell cyber jaya call center.
Well so far so good just curious my senior as in all those elder than me in shell at least in shell for 3 or 4 years or more, yet still same position makes curious why would they stay so long in same position.
Guess I will find out soon.

are they contractors or permanent employees?
this is more important to find out first...

They are permanent staff, though some of them came in as contractor b4 and become permanent later I guess.

highly paid as contractor / perm ... not easy to venture out and get the same pay for the same work that they were doing ? ? ?

Hey mind to share what benefit does shell offer to you? just benefit, like transport allowance? toll and petrol claim? housing allowance?

I am contractor so i have none of the above benefit.

are you fresh ? fresh salary will be less than rm2.5K....that's for sure, plus with the inconvenience location, plus with the not competitive allowance rate, if I were you, I wont be much dissapointed. Seriously, there are really better paying company out there. and officially, the relocation allowance has been cut off for new staff under the graduate scheme

i know 2 indians from india working in assurance team
they earn about 12K per month
people in india somehow are no confidential about salary
they are spoilt now, they think the rest of us malaysians earn that much too
it is very difficult for them to get the idea that they overpaid then the rest of us malaysians
contracted directlt to shell SBSC

i am not fresh, i already got 2 years exp and i request for 3k++ salary. i dunno about the allowance as i din ask during the interview.
Although i dunno what is happen to Shell as many of the lowyat people say already not as competitive as last time, but i really wish to join this company as i really like this company.

if you are fresh go ahead join shell, otherwise forget abt this lousy company, i've no idea why nwaday still gt ppl want join this company as their reputation nw so so only

dont expect any petrol/toll allowance/claim from shell even most of cyberjaya company give such allowance. also dont expect any high pay in SBSC they already downgrade salary group

my advise is, if hv experince join others company long term you learn more and will earn more. d longer you stay in shell, d harder u get join outside coz u have no skills except taichi... but who wan hire a taichi master ?

but u get car allowance + parking allowance even you dont own a car wor....why need petrol / toll allowance while u not need go to office everdays or maybe 1-2 days per week.... if u want better salary scale in siham, then keep on upgrade urself with skills that siham wanted...i believe the salary scheme in siham is very good to flush out all the deadwood and underperform staff..

car allowance is ntg if comparing to others cyberjaya companies, some willing pay up to 1k so call transport allowance to their staff. parking worst i know some staff not own a car but they 'rent' their parking to contractor because only staff can park into shell building.

high pay means ... ok if u wan get high pay then 1st u must learn how to polish shoe, then u must visisble to all top manager, even a small things u must made it complicated until they see u...others skills no need u can learn it slowly

but if u can get transportation allowance + u do not need go to office everyday, so which one u prefer? plus how many companies out there in CBJ willing to give 1K transportation allowance for all its staff? are u working in SBSC@cyberjaya???? because from your reply abt car parking seem like u r not because with the new system staff cant rent the parking anymore wor.....secondly, the shoe polishing...my boss is sleeping while i am working and i am sleeping while he is working thus no time or chance for me to polish his shoe furthremore, career windows open every 3-4yrs so no matter how ur boss loves u also no use because he/she cant give u more salary once u hit ur max salary of ur job group plus your own boss cant even promote u within the job....if you want to shot your boss then shell always provide such oppurtunity for you...i do not see any problem commenting abt my team lead infront of my team lead's boss...it is just matter how you planned your work and work your plan...if everything is recorded and noted then you think your boss can deny it meh....

in conclusion, this means that shell does not provide travel allowance to work in cyberjaya but do provide car allowance right?

But last time, shell is well-known with its employee benefit, nowadays i dunno la. Really hope to see what is happening in Shell

what i means is staff dun need parking they 'rent' to contractor, previously working but last weeks onwards can't anymore i see many contractor masuk basement but their GID card cant access

sumore talk about work from home, not all boss allow u wfh la unless ur in project team then ok. also after CIM there is no window anymore provided your boss and u agreen then u can OR anytime... unless ur in upstream then diff story. i join tis team 2 yrs i already tell my boss wan cabut edi luckly she say ok she will OR my job until i get new job

What is CIM eh?
Care to share u spent 2 years there any promotion or?
I been told need at least stay 2 years there then 3rd year onwards have other options o well i also not very sure lol
