Seems like alot of problem for MNP.
my gf's number same as well... submited last sunday until now still haven port to Digi.
But her friend is lucky, able to change it in short time even is postpaid supp line

I subscribe to iphone 3GS plan this July, so I ask Digi center they said u can buy an iphone 4 without contract starting from 1st of November, if I purchase now I'll be tie with 24 months contract; thats mean I will tie with 2 contract.
What I dont understand bout the 2 contracts is I'll only continue paying my existing bill, or I need to get another digi number???

u get the letter directly after u paid up or they post to u ?

if my Celcom principle line have a sup line under it.... can I just port over or need to cancel the sup line 1st?

I paid first then wait at the Digi Centre at Sunway Pyramid, they do the release letter to inform that i am free from maxis and all my outstandings r paid.. I asked them to print it so each details can be checked easily.. I got 2 modems lastime when using broadband.. So i have outstandings even i have paid up 2 years back and cancel.

You need to cancel the supplementary or port it over to Digi at the same time .. if you going to cancel it, go to Celcom and tell them that you're going to port over and need it to be cancelled and not flagged as inactive. I had this problem before when I told Celcom that I want to cancel my supplementary lines and they just flag them as inactive. When I tried to port over to Maxis, it failed and checking again with Celcom .. they said they need to fully cancel my supplementary lines before I could port over.

Yup, just done it last week .. but there is no 5+1 plan for Digi, so my supplementary is having a D30 plan ..

y dont u subscribe the D15 plan? or does tat only applies for prepaid?

My friend registered MNP from Maxis porting to DIGI.

Tuesday only get thing done.

How it works here, My friend need to pay for the bill for Maxis first. (He went to Maxis for 2 times for paying n terminate his Maxis BB)

Call charges is quite expensive for the prepaid, 36sen/minute and they charge every minute.

the release letter is i write myself or ? after i settle my amount in maxis, she told me to write the reason to terminate in a form. the form pass to back to maxis girl. all i get is a payment receipt from maxis. adui

You will have to get a new digi number if you subscribe a new plans. That means you have to pay two contracts. However, if you wait until 1 November, you can just buy the phone upright and just use the new phone with your existing contract.

U just say u want a release letter. Insist on it, bocoz u gonna port to Digi.. Tell them that..

I did that. They ask why? I said Maxis is squeezing money too much from me, and doesnt appreciate me as a 12 years customer..
