they said i change from celcom to digi need to wait bit longer ar? is it true?
damn troublesome la.. because of the RM100 rebate, now the phone is like a dead phone.. loled =)

No, it wont erase the data,
coz all the time you are connected to iTunes.
the download of iOS size about 600MB,
takes around 1.5 hours with my streamyx.

Updating process to the phone around 10mins.

My IP4 still not in service.. i call DG, celcom centre.. lastly i found out that DIGI forgot to key in my supplementary line along with me (PORT IN) , thats is y celcom reject my Port out application... 

im quite frustrated right now.. WTF happen to DCS.. they are not well trained when they want to key in my application..

Got my iP4 from the carnival on Sat 3.30pm (what a horrendously crappy service Digi!!!)

After I got the iPhone at the Quill Carnival, I insisted they explain how my mobile no. would be ported (mine was a very old prepaid blue bear -- no outstanding bills; mine even has extra credit in it!!) and they mentioned that they will key in my details MANUALLY...so something went wrong that it took 2 1/2 hours at Quill just to get my filled up PAPER forms (those who were in Quill would know the massive FUBAR that happened) -- did something happened to their system or what??

I gave them the benefit of the doubt; waited from Sat till today -- felt a disturbance in the Force... so I called helpline 016-221 1800 today 40 minutes ago... gave my name and IC no and they said NO SUCH RECORD EXIST. So bla bla ask me to call Celcom bla bla check port I told them I've asked this questions already at Quill, looks like you guys (Digi) didn't do your job right. Then he asked for my name and IC and the ID on the micro/mini SIM card and said it will be activated 24 hours. Then I realised, how do they know which plan I wanted to go with?

TL:DR: For those we went to Quill to MNP and buy iP4, call Digi NOW to check your status!

UPDATE: From my previous post at page 10, I called up Digi service centre again at 7ish PM, and asked the same questions to the customer service spokesperson and was given the same answers again: NO SUCH NUMBER or RECORD exists. I mentioned about purchasing the iPhone 4@Quill and she seemed to be keenly aware of the event.

Pressing further and refusing to "go to the nearest Dig centre" to do the MNP again, I asked a new set of question, "what happened to all the forms and credit card details I filled up at Quill?" which turned into a 3 minute waiting period and a somewhat vague answer were given: they have pooled all the MNP numbers in a list, and will be "keying" the list within 24 hours before my number (which was in the list) will be ported in.

So Quill iP4 buyers, again, don't wait; please call Digi if you number is not ported!!

Quill automotive is the BMW showroom lah kawan anyways a lecturer of mine got into the same situation as you, shes has yet to have her sim activated, some forummers here said that the MNP failed and you have to walk in to the DIGI center to review it

Better sign up for maxis, coz they doing things more effective..

my friend got the line right after the was activated at the last counter..

yet we waited 7 hours eventhough we're one of the earliest..

already coal digi service centre? and please do call your telco SC also.. just to make sure they receive the application from DIGI.. for my case DIGI key in my application wrongly  .
after follow up with them, this morning my phone succesfully Port in to DIGI..

i register at Quill in satuday same with you.. i think the person who in charge to key in the application are soo stupid.. 

funny that my friends' line was activated right after phone was activated (when they hooked it with their laptop)

my friend got the line directly.

kakak tu said "wait within 24 hours baru line masuk"

then i said "tu line dah masuk" while pointing to the digi logo at the top.

kakak tu terkejut and said "wah dah masuk. cepatnya!"

i port in Celcom to Digi..
until now no news updated.. will call the sc later..

Regardless what's ur plan is, u only have to play RM2090 to get the plan with the iphone itself..
RM2090 is the phone price not the deposit or whatever =)

Today 4pm call Digi SC and scold them.. They told me stil waiting for Celcom to release my number coz i mnp to get RM100 rebate=)
Today 6pm.. activated .. Happy =)

please do make sure CELCOM received the application from DIGI.. if not, please do ask DIGI to resubmit it again.

porting other telco number into DiGi

so the rebate only applicable if u porting let say a celcom number into DiGi

buy those celcom RM3 starter pack,port into DiGi,enjoy RM97 rebate (since another RM3 was used to purchase the sim pack)

U got any outstanding issues with Maxis or not? Hidden charges or outstanding on usb modems n so on.. I t happened to me before and the outstanding was way back in 2008.. So i just go to their Centre, and asked for a thoroughly check outstandings. Then one shot pay all.. And take a release letter.. Then go bk to the Digi branch i went to do port in.. The next day, str8 approve..

Its like a final letter lo.. U can argue if u have letter on hand. I scold maxis and digi kaw kaw.. HAHA.. then port to digi. gila not..

I paid first then wait at the Digi Centre at Sunway Pyramid, they do the release letter to inform that i am free from maxis and all my outstandings r paid.. I asked them to print it so each details can be checked easily.. I got 2 modems lastime when using broadband.. So i have outstandings even i have paid up 2 years back and cancel.

U just say u want a release letter. Insist on it, bocoz u gonna port to Digi.. Tell them that..

I did that. They ask why? I said Maxis is squeezing money too much from me, and doesnt appreciate me as a 12 years customer..
