im newbie here....currently i have a technical issue on my wira & it almost make me crazy...pls help me.
The issue is like that:
my wira meter panel recently spoil on the oil & milage indicator. So after reading all forum i decide diy to convert my wira 1.3 year 2001 vdo meter (without rpm) to mmc meter. I get the mmc meter from Sungai Petani chop shop (RM150 with socket). After changing the socket pin which suit for mmc meter, all is working (door, h/break, check engine, oil, speedometer, temp)....BUT only the rpm meter can't function.!!! Im sure that the pin is correct...so i go to check with mechanic shop, after checking, he has tap a wire from distributor (nearby) direct to meter...finally the rpm is move, BUT move with abnormal, even i press the petrol pedal gao gao, the rpm just move to 3k!!!....What is the problem there?? Hope all Sifu's can help me. Thanks a lot.

i just change my rear lower arm 2 days ago... he charge me RM50... is this price reasonable? few months back in Mlk got one shop quote me RM150...

why some shops like to cheat ppl de ar?? any sifus willing to take up the challenge to compile a list of current market price for wira parts??! that would be awesome...

btw, any recommendation for honest, reasonable and good workmanship workshop in Puchong or near Puchong area?

can someone recommend engine oil to use for 5 years old wira auto 1.5?
first time changing it (since it's 2nd hand car.bought recently).

want to buy at shop and change it at workshop..

depend on wat quality they give u lor~

RM50 and RM150 lower arm quality might be different. but also might be the shop wanna con you.
best is you buy the parts at spare parts shop to know you are paying for quality products.

are u sure when ur car gt problem, u can still able to DRIVE to his house? haha..
while.. i also change rear lower arm 2 month ago..
i bought mitsubitsi lower arm at sparepart shop at around RM150 for both and then i take to the mechanic that i often visit.. he charge me rm50 for UPAH..
so i guess u mean rm50 is with items then really cheap d..

hi, thr, for ur information, wira suitable to use semi oil,
which is in the range of rm100+-
i suggest u go for BHP 10w40 semi oil if u wan performance and,
Eneos 10w40 semi oil for fuel saving..

well, those i mention normally is in 4 litter package..
they do sell separately for 1 litter each..
but not that worth for money unless ur engine MAKAN engine oil..
=)

i heard some1 told me about mobile 1..
my next engine oil service will definately go for mobile 1..
so far if BHP n enous, i'll pick BHP~
