Normal time :
With Air-cond = 900-1000
Without Air-cond = 1200-1300

But sometimes it will be lower, I wonder why.. rclxub.gif

Abnormal time :
With Air-cond = 700-800
Without Air-cond = 900-1000
*
It is the TB problem.....
because when its abnormal, with aircond on its 700rpm, when u engage to D, it will drop even more hence your engine stalled

Wont lowered spring be very bumpy bro?
*
It will be a little bumpy, if not just use back stock springs and abs

QUOTE(Lineage @ Oct 18 2010, 05:02 PM)
Ok..so can I change the ISC unit? or I need to change the whole TB? I know the design problem, cause it melt..how long it will last if i change a new 1? few years? few months?  hmm.gif
*
Try to source for another ISC thingy for your TB (just the bottom part)
Or change to a new recond TB/brand new TB

Alternative solution is to install a FICD

About the lifespan of the TB's ISC, it depends.....I can't say for sure. Its an old technology already, can't do much

I am not sure about the ISC alone since normally we just change to a recond TB straight

yo gsrians... today i find out something from my engine... it 'eat' engine oil ler.. but no leaking, no blue/white smoke... wonder where the heck did it went to... almost clock 3k km, but i already have to used up the remaining oil (saved up from the service) in the bottle to keep it above the middle mark... did you experience this in your gsr? if you do, what you did and the cost?
*
1st question, do you high rev a lot?
2nd question, whats the vicosity of the oil?

Tell you the truth, turbos normally 3k-4k ppl change adi

1. I dont really high rev.. but.. every week, i go back to my hometown.. about 100km drive. so, at this time. i'll be sprinting back.. hahaha..
2. currently is 15w-50... so, the next step would be 20w-50.. if still cannot... i think.. better change piston ring.. and blablabla liao kua..

im already changing my oil at 3k de.. it's just that.. i tak puas hati that my engine oil went somewhere without telling..and i doesnt feel good if the damn level reaches L..
*
Next question, did you overhaul the engine when you got the halfcut? tongue.gif

Get a high flow air filter will increase your performance for sure
Others to consider, lighten crank pulley

The rest like camshafts, PNP, high comp pistons and engine balancing are all later stages already

Not about maintenance problem, you get the best power to weight ratio
Maintenance is more or less the same for all engines
