soapkeng ,

I know how u feel.it really hurt when saw the beloved car with even minor scratch.

I think the outer layer of paint already chip off rite? then the only way is repaint the whole bumper .

Try polish those area , it might reduce the affected area a bit

Try VM Motor, authorised Bermaz professional painter, It is located near Mazda SC at PJ. My fren M6 pearl white got repainted at both driver's and passenger's door, very good job. Mazda Club also recommends the same shop for any paint job. If not, can always send your car to PJ SC and ask them can repair or not.

it very hard to get new paint closed to factory if u spray affected area only. U might see some color contract.

For more satisfaction , get whole bumper spray .

aluminum metallic code for mazda 3 is 38P. it's written on a sticker at the door panel on the driver's side alongside the vehicle id etc.

Twice as much? I doubt so. It also depends on how you accelerate in start stop situations. You may not be able to resist the zoom zoom spirit, and floor the accelerator when the lights turn green.
But if you drive gently, not accelerating excessively, it won't be twice as much. More, yes it will be.
