There is daily quota but you can purchase it outright as well. Not a problem. Just go there early n wait outside the shop before it opens. Maxis Garden is the best bet!

What are the requirements to do that? I am a 17 yr old student and currently on Hotlink prepaid. Besides the money, must i bring my parents there or something? Can i sign up for myself?

if i'm not mistaken, min age to use postpaid is 18 years old.

want to get new number - go sign up using ur mom/dad ic, then after u 18, change ownership to ur name

want to use same hotlink number - change ownership of the prepaid number 1st (from ur name to ur mom/dad name), then follow step above.

(it will be looks like ur mom/dad who want to use that iphone la. hehe)

note: change/transfer ownership must fill a form and bring ic ~

Yesterday after work, I went to Gardens to buy the phone outright. The guy told me that if I want to buy outright, I should wait for Monday. I'm not going to listen to him and would be queueing up on Saturday to get it.

How is the warranty from Maxis? I'm getting another one from Maxis because DiGi does not sell outright, while Machines, MacStudio, MacCity, etc. already ran out of stocks for the 32GB iPhone 4. I need to know Maxis' from the people that has it because one of my friend says he had bad experience with Maxis warranty when buying outright. My iPhone 4 is from DiGi and the fellow told me it is the same as Apple - that they would send to Apple for any defect repairs - thus, if Maxis warranty is the same, there shouldn't be any problem.

Now I am freakin' pissed off at Maxis Gardens! Queued there on Sunday since 9 something and they stopped the queue at 11 am, just 4 ppl infront of me. They asked to leave our numbers and promised we will be the first priority for the first batch of re-stocks.

Now I find out all kinds of walk-in customers are getting the phones. Sigh, should have predicted this when they using that cheap A4 paper to take down our contacts. Probably sitting in a waste paper basket somewhere.

Gonna try my luck again this Sunday.
