macro shots can be done slightly better using 3rd party app btw.. i tried camera 360 pro as i see that the macro mode is slightly better.. but u need a steady hand indeed

erm...i dint do wipe...i just do the nandroid backup den str8 install the v7.7.zip file...did u do wipe??

You must do a wipe first as many other people are also having missing apps when they don't wipe.

My HTC Desire would reboot/restart itself quite frequently lately. Usually it happen when I am on the line. Anyone have this problem?

hey guys, i just rooted my 2.2 desire this evening using unrevoked.
Now i would like to flash some custom rom. From what i read:

1) Use rom manager to create ext3 partition on sd card. (ext2 or ext3 better?)
2) Copy the rom zip file to sd (no need to rename zip to anything rite?)
3) I boot into bootloader and enter clockworkmod recovery.
4) Perform nandroid backup. (the clockworkmod folder in sd card can be used to flash back my current rom? is the process just like how we flash custom rom?)
5) Wipe the system data and factory reset.
6) Selech flash zip file from sd and select the rom zip file and flash and things should be good after that....

So are the steps above correct? Do i miss out anyhthing?

1)Dunno which is better but I'm using ext3, but my next ROM flash I most probably will change it to ext4.
2)no need to rename
4)nandroid is something like a system restore. In case anything wrong with your ROM, can just restore using nandoid to the previous state.
