haha... i am just joking. Desire thread has become quite quiet recently. I think dual core is the natural path just like the computer CPU, going from single to dual core then quad core and beyond.

you mean the older Nandroid backup does not backup all apps under ext partition? I think it does leh but I am not sure coz I only make backup, never restore a nandroid backup yet.

What is the price of Desire now? Thinking of changing my X6 to either Desire or N8

please get Desire, you won't regret. I thought N8 has a lot of issues recently?

i got problem when to restore nandroid, got an error on r6. plus, r5/r6 actually not support by amon ra himself. it is just mod by other user as amon ra recovery actually are meant for nexus.
and now, amon ra himself support and update the recovery for desire.

i admit that i'm flash maniac and like a new thing..
with desire, i can do anything..everyday i can flash my phone.
but with n8, i cannot do anything..
the only thing n8 win over desire is much better camera.

nope. recovery is not like rom.
just use unrevoked or terminal

terminal (put file image on root sdcard)
su
flash_image recovery /sdcard/name.img

or

fastboot
fastboot flash recovery name.img
