@draco82, sure you can push the apk inside. i have tried pushing the teeter inside. no problem but think install separate easier since can remove it later!
How you push file inside zip? there is no paste option available,...
@draco hmmm was using NextSense 5.3 and it was working fine till i updated the radio to 32.47. then flash rom ro auraxt 7.6.1 and still doesnt have 720P with H.264 then flash radio to 32.48 and yet still not available.
Something is fishy here...
Ooops.....Sry my bad.... H.264 dont have 720p.... i dint notice that when i select h.264, it will switch to wvga automatic..... yes, 720p only for mpeg4
I'm using the stock ROM Froyo 2.2, how should I assign a ringtone to a group in People/Contact (eg: Friends, Family, VIP, etc) in 'batch' style? It can be very tedious if assigning one by one in the group.
Or is there any application that can do this task?
Not sure about that, previously i did assign ring tone with multiple choice but not in group.... I have different label behind contacts name for me to differentiate which group they are, so i can easily call them out using the label.... but after i join the stream of rom flashing~~hehe... less customize, less problem and less pain..... I think most of the root users here don't customize their phone too much..
Assign ring tone with multiple choice? You mean there is somewhere that I can set the 'rule'/choices on to which contact/keyword the ringtone should assign to?
Not exactly rules, what i means is this... go to music select the music or mp3 you want then press menu. Choose set as ringtone --> contact ringtone then you will see the contacts list in people.... Lets say i have a label of (Frens) behind all my friends contact name in frens group... abc (frens) cde (frens) efg (frens)
i just type (frens) in the search bar then i can call all of them out... so i just tick all of their name, thats it~~

This is a well known problem of htc.... It is not a real multitouch due to the touch panel it applied..... There is some software or kernel outside that reduce the flipping problem for certain htc phones with same problem... unfortunately it doesn't work on desire yet, not sure why...

just bought new desire and it has market place. after update to 2.2, market place gone already. is this standard thing?when you guys said market place is it referring this website www .android.com/marketplace? what is nandroid backup?is it must down before install custome rom? what is asds+ and asds?do i really need to have this?if yes, where can i get it?
look for market apps in your apps list.... nandroid backup is backup your current rom which is like you backup your whole windows for laptop.... you can ignore nandroid if you lazy, but it can return your phone to the nandroid stage instead something bad happen when you install new rom... for a2sd, please refer to 1st post, there are clear description there....

usually on titanium backup, back all user apps or all system data, or user apps + system data??
which wan u choose and why?
please help..
i prefer to backup user apps only.... When you are changing one rom to another, system data might crash if you restore everything.... so to make it simple, i backup user apps only then when restore i can just fully restore them without going through the systems data 1 by 1...
anyone know which is good radio for gprs,edge,3g,hsdap,gps?
It really depends on rom and user...... even with same rom and same user, some will report very good battery life and some said the battery drain very fast... i'm using latest .48 radio, and it is really good i think.....but a lot of people complaint it drain battery...
me using the .48 radio too with the RIL installed it's better without RIL it's worse than .47
Yup, tried without RIL for 1st two days... can last only around 1 day+ with <1 hour of voice call.... with RIL i can used up to around 30 hours with 2 hours+ voice call~~
