signal problem with my phone?
i use maxis sim card with my phone , i keep on getting high dbm -100 ++
and keep on losing signal ... (it used to be full bar too when in the same place)
but when i switch my sim card over to other phone ... the signal strength is full bar!
then i try a hotlink simcard on my phone, it shows full bar with dbm - 71 O_O
but when i switch back to maxis simcard... the signal go back on dbm - 100 ++ with lost signal ><
what wrong now ><

Managed to do it....but how do I install app2sd? I did partition using rom manager..now what?

Which rom? Most rom auto have already after partition. If not they will state. Download quick system info and see if ur partition is there.

Bro I think you got it wrong. You don't "see" the a2sd function. When you install apps it will auto install to sd already once you have partition. some parts will still be in the internal memory.

eg: installed 12mb app, 10 mb will be in sd, 2 mb in internal.

By the way, how do I know if it is partitioned already? Any way to check? Thanks!

Im repartitioning it again by setting it 512 mb ---0mb . Earlier on did 256 ---32. However, the triangle logo with exclaimation mark is appearing for quite long now..should i just wait for it to do its job or just abort it?

Still cannot use google map. I've done reboot/factory setting/cursing/swearing....but still it force close. Rite now i'm on froyo.

Bro, -100dbm is smaller than -71dbm.....
that's mean you have weaker signal reception on your maxis card.....
Normally when i get -100dbm i have only 1 or 2 bar.....
i get full bar only when i reach above -80dbm...
if you are in custom rom then check the radio you use.....
if non root phone....i can't help~~hehe

if non root then you might have to consider factory reset your phone.....
or install brut map if you want to consider navigation using google maps....

2) Also answered before. Ori=2yrs warranty, ap=1year. And I think you can't get original now. No more stock. If you can, good for you.
