dude u have to consider the amount of balancing they have to do for the game.
I think 4 is already a chore to balance imagine with 5 race...`

I heard they inserted tyriands in the campaign so maybe they might consider adding a tyriands race into the game or not.

Usually games only goes on 1 standalone and 1 expansion nothing else so maybe we can hope for sometihng else like FPS maybe.

well it would be cool to have a clan but then will they be MY clans to compete?

Anyway some feedback.. I dont think IG would be a race suitable for Noobs is rather hard to micro with em.. Anyway Now the battlefield is switch to tier 2 as all the heavy weaponary are bought there and tier 3 is gonna be a drag...

Anyway some random comment
- Scouts can have 4 weapons now.. cool now can deal with reapers easier.
- Tac SM can have 5 weapon ahh even more dealier plasma marines.
- Whirwinds been cheaper Finally now i can add whirlwinds in my strat more easier now... Been hoping them to be cheaper a long while also.
- Rockets are anti inf now and not anti building now... Kinda odd for this change.. Although it makes Hellfire dreads more effetive but it makes rockets marines rather useless....
-Land raider limted to 1.... Although they make it stronger.. but then i dunno that a good thing or not..
-Wow Chaplain is pratically a FC with a Apoc looks usefull is u need the extra apoc or melee unit.

Anyway also after playing the chaos campaign i learn that some of the things Chaos says is kinda wierd..

Also somemore comments about Sm new tech tree.
although Whirwinds is cheaper but it only availble in tier 3
heavy Bolters can only be recieve in tier 2 which is kinda bad as now SM is very weak in tier 1 now.

Ah Darn i remember playing an Assasination game it was a Mirror Sm match where i just mass marine i FF is FC and when he was around the red bar i send my FC out chase him and finish him off with my FC pistol. very fast.. less than 5 min i won the game'

Yeah Raptor pistol dmg and dmg toward building is to high, dont worry is quite easy to counter.

What i have a problem with is SM vs IG. SM life is very hard now.

Tier 1
now with the lack of heavy bolters SM is weak agaisnt guardmen superior range. ASM would help but then priest is unjustify and most IG player would just dance around and with sneer number with cross firing ur ASM is toast.

Tier 2
Tier 2 is also crazy... Dreads would provide some relieve but it will soon be over once sentinels come. Pushing with troops is also a deathwish as they would die from Basiliks.

Tier 3
Early Tier 3 would still be weak but Termies would help agaisnt karskrin guard and orgrn. Only late tier3 the preds and landraider would only be useful as Preds will khock off every leman russ and concetrated blast will kill the land raider.

In summary SM is a masive disadvantage at tier 1,2 and early 3 which Sm is force to turtle to late tier3 which is most probly to late as sentinels would rape the turrets and earth shaker would kill every infatry on cover... I think Guardsmen and Basiliks is way to OP. Also dont even think of using flamers as Comissars would make their morale unbroken forever.

Its gonna be impossible in tier1 as Guardmen with grenade are really a marine killer.

they is no way you can defeat IG in early game as they their guardmen is very strong and if all fails they can run into their bunkers and spoil your rush. Even without bunkers guardmen alone can rape anything that leave the base.

And commisars just kill off the whole morale issue,hell i think they dont even need to upg their morale thing as commisar keep all morale up forever. I also heard that Commisar heals troops also it this true?

maybe eldar might stand a chance as Farseer can keep tossing the guardmen around but then priest might ruin everything.

As an SM player i learn when vs IG ian always in the disadvatage until tier 3.

since ever1 going DOW siggy i also go well my stats is kinda bad...

Its strange my automatch score is 1050 but here iam still 1000 anyone care to help ?

Anyway i tried ASM on IG today.. Hey they kinda work but i still lost now i need to get a proper strat maybe a mix of ASM with TAC marines with bolters and rockets and its GG for IG.

Edit: I tested it out today it failed also cause yeah it drags the enemy back to their base bu then the defense is crazy turrets with bunkers it impossible to atk them. Ig is way to though to beat... they are practically the next eldar.. I think the reason why IG is so OP as their offensive is already insane and their defends is way to strong as relic "defensive orriented race".

I think SM vs IG is way to hard to beat.

I wonder how other races facing with IG those who play other Race What ur feedback with IG.

I totally disavourage whirwind on IG as their basiliks will just beat your rocket infantry and rush in their sentinels and kick your WW butt. Instead of WW i think gettin Preds and LR is a major piority. Preds can knock down any vehicle the IG field even the baneblade and land raider for all your tanking/infatry mowing needs.

Its sounds great but the sad thing is that if u can even survive or even better still capable to fight by the time u reach there.

Honestly i just wish the relic will simply just give back HB to tier 1 cos HB is the only thing even at DOW that keep all races from rushing or massing.

Oh.. i didnt knew that but then they could tone down the dmg agasint heavy infantry and shift it back to tier 1 cos SM is pratically weak, really weak in tier 1.

Well.. Ig is a defensive oriented race to begin with the orignal purpose of IG is that they have to turtle until they can get tanks and etc. That why sentinels is capable to decap so IG players who turtle can sneak out a sentinel or 2 to decap enemy LP.

Gettin Snipers does help behind a turret and such but then gettin it will greatly delay your tier 2. Snipers cost 40 req and 20 power!!!.

Thats the tricky issue Sm has to turtle or harass to stall the enemy to get tier2 which is difficult esp maps where SP are place far away from base.

Like i mention it may be a skimmer but it build to rush in quick destroy the LP, decap and run away.

Truthfully at tier2 SM is still weak also. sentinels is gonna rape any Dreads on the field and Basiliks will rape any infantry on the ground.... So the best would be tier 3 and 4 where termies and preds will stand a better chance on the battlefield.

1 strat i been thinking is that u get rhinos stuff all your men inside, a must to include a libarian with WOTE. Rush into the base hopefully he didnt get alot sentinels unload at the heart of the base, atk destroy as many sentinels if he have if posible the mechanize factory , cast WOTE if taking to much fire then send in Dreads to save your infantry.

Draw back gonna be if your rhino can survive the punishment the enemy can offer or how strong is their defences.

err... rocket pratically does nothing to buildings u know....

This kind of strat since all your units need to setup everytime u wanna deploy so makes u very vulnebra to basiliks.

Changing race would be hard to adapt.... I love the SM so its makes it even harder for me to change more.

err... Chaplain/Apoc on ur side wont really make a diff after a few rounds of pounding your men are dead.

I didnt say setup time should be remove just saying setup time will just simply slow your push down.

Since were bring up OP i would like to say Ork is gettin awfully OP also. yeah Sluggas may be weak but their tier 2 is crazy Nobz are field way to early in game and Wartruks way to strong. they no way to defeat an Ork in tier1 due to their inhouse turrets.

Ok next time when i bump into the Op i was mention i save the replay.

Wish i did save a replay on the time i did infantry push while i was taking pounding by basiliks even had apoc after i think 5-6 hits my infantry was wasted.

BTW I am playing Online and not AI.

So how about the part when his Wartraks just keep tossing my infantry around...?

I did retreated by infantry on the far left corner but the Wartraks just toss the infantry around they was no way for them to retreat.

Technology... What do u want me to field Dreads would be irrealistic as Wartraks can dance around them.. , I got rockets for my squads but then the teleporting BM and Wartraks tossing just makes them useless even the FC and Chaplain cant even take down the trax by the tossing...
