is it a good move from dslr to finepix x100? i find my dslr is darn heavy and bulky. my main photography is taking landscape. feel like sell everything off for x100. one thing makes me stay back is bcoz x100 doesnt have built-in flash.. how how how?

Checked out fotokem but they were selling the unit close to 4 grand. Bought mine at low yat plaza today. They've got 4 more units left. Look around as there are a few vendors with different prices. Good luck to those hunting for the camera.

just a raw snap shot...

oh S95 better? let me try mine at home...
but i remembered i tried that day with S90 and it looks duller than x100.... smile.gif

the range of colors from S90 is much lower than X100...

sorry for being noob but im quite impressed with the ranges of colors (DR) from x100 compared to my nikon gears...

I haven't felt the need to use 3200 much, only in twilight (past 6:00pm in Brisbane). Even then, the results are impressive - and that's just based on the out-of-camera JPEGs.

Anyway, I've been hunting high and low for the hood. Nobody seems to have any. It's either I get a "no stock" reply or a countenance that shows they've never even heard of such a thing.

Guess I'll just have to wait for the Fujifilm people at Axis to get their stock and contact me. sad.gif

have you been to this one camera shop in Pavillion? They sell it there but dunno if they have stock now. however price is much higher at RM340 then normal price selling at Fujifilm for RM220.

I also use auto iso max 3200, so far under low light the noise is almost nothing.

Does anyone here knows where can I actually test X100? Been calling different camera shops around Klang Valley and it seems all of them ran out of stocks. Does Fuji HQ at Axis has it?

More pics needer from X100 owners! Saiful Nang was only using his X100 instead of his 5D on a recent workshop. It looks awesome. What's the cheapest price for it?
