QUOTE(xLegato @ Aug 15 2011, 04:51 PM) Does anyone know where I can buy the hood? I tried the one at Axis, they have no stock. The shops in Low Yat Plaza don't seem to carry any either. i remember seeing one few months back at this one shop in Pavillion. But they sell it for RM300++ compare to cheaper price at Fujifilm for RM220.

I was keeping my eye on this camera. It looks VERY impressive. One question though. Can I select my AF point rather than auto AF selection?

Haha thanks C-Fu. Looks great on your x100, and now smells great too. Did you notice the heavy leather smell? Btw I noticed your tail end a bit short. You should bring it out longer and loop it back into the ring thingy. This is so that it wont be that easy to come off on its own Take a look here to see how its done » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Btw, the Zeiss hood you see here is quite a difference from the X100 hood. With the x100, you just slot it in and turn. It doesnt lock into place. The Zeiss hood when you turn (and mind you its really smooth), and once it reaches where its suppose to go, it locks into place by some kind of a spring thingy, the hood will pop out like 1 mm and lock with a reassuring click. When you want to take it off, you have to push the hood back in, just slightly, and then you turn the other way. One more nice thing is that when its locked, the Carl Zeiss logo is at the top. Now compare that with the X100..... sorry show off sikit..... This post has been edited by idoblu: Aug 18 2011, 06:22 AM

is it a good move from dslr to finepix x100? i find my dslr is darn heavy and bulky. my main photography is taking landscape. feel like sell everything off for x100. one thing makes me stay back is bcoz x100 doesnt have built-in flash.. how how how?
