well thats beauty of games there.clubs rely heavily on season tickets as that brings in the money better then on the counter sales.

as for purchasing the unsold tickets like we usually see advertised on the website, its just collecting at the counter or better said the ticketing office at ot.anyway if you are residing in the uk, why not try the official website.the best place to start and avoid in form of forgeries.

last time i study in uk, i use the viagogo service thingy, think united main website got linked to it. Basically, season ticket holder who does not want to attend any particular match will sell of their ticket for that match at that website. u must pay a premium thou, if i remember rite, 5 to 10% extra or sumthing like that plus admin fees, came out to around 60++pound plus mail. Not a bad price considering the official ticket was selling around 48pound at that time. The drawback is u have to join their one united membership thingy to even bid on that viagogo thing. If u are planning to go more than once (like i did throughout the year) the price will even out and its not that bad. But sumtimes hard to get ticket for those top four or derby match (the likes of arsenal, liverpool etc). If u really do go, try to get a ticket on the upper row of the stretford end.(Best atmosphere, singing throughout the game, most enjoyable, like choreographed singing.)

PS, i dun think there are even a ticket counter at old trafford anymore, those few ticket booths at the end of sir matts busby way, i see onie sell programmes on matchday and non-matchday.

Read on a few sites that Rooney is causing problems now.. It was reported in Soccernet that he said Fergie lied about Rooneys ankle injury and i read somewhere else that he halts contract talks.. It was very silly for him claim fergie lied because even a school child would know that all Fergie was doing was protecting him.

I know we should take all this news with a pinch of salt but Rooney has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately.. Is it time for us to get worried?

Yeap. Apparently SAF told the media and fans that Rooney had an ankle injury and had to be out for a couple of weeks. He did it to protect Rooney due to all his problems lately, both on and off the field. Most of us already knew why SAF didnt play Rooney and accepted that it was the right move but of course SAF needs a 'cover' story for the press so he said ankle injury.
Then yesterday,Rooney outwardly said he never had any problems with his ankle for the pass 2 months or something. Not a very smart move by Rooney to go against the gaffers words but lets hope this is an overblown topic by the media.

well i for one think the scenes we saw at the reebok was real enough.i.e he did suffer from some niggling ankle problem.besides did he recover fully from that injury at that time??i say no with him going straight in to the wc after that.

the comment he made after the englands game must be an outburst due the constant blame he gets whenever the 3 lions dont win.england screw up=rooney the main culprit.i think this way for once they will focus on the so called "going against his bos's word rather then him being crucified for the national teams crappy play+team.

SAF isnt a saint, he's constant liar. but no one better than SAF in man management.

im convince the ankle problem are his cover story, to protect and rest Rooney. Rooney is droppable, he's off colour and we have an alternative strikers.

still, WBA home match are perfect match for Rooney. then CL home match, Stoke away. a game time for Owen or Hernandez if Rooney continuing his dismal form.

We will be having 9 matches in the space of 29 days so if Rooney is going to recapture his form, this will be the best time to start doing it.

Just hope that SAF will play Rooney against WBA. If Rooney performs well, all the stories will be well forgotten. Fingers crossed.

if he doesn't sign till his current contract end, it could be a risk to lose him on bosman rules and united get 0 cent on him.

and if he doesnt sign, means his heart is else where and no point united keep him ... like c.ronaldo.l

You're right, business wise it won't be a good idea to lose him out of contract. Certainly if Rooney's intention were to leave at the end of his contract, it might be for the fact that he could demand huge sums of money from the next club to sign him.

but still, NOOOOOOOOOO..!!!!!! I can't think with my business head for this one guys Im sorry sad.gif

Hargreaves wait continues

QUOTE
Owen Hargreaves will not line up against West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday, contrary to reports in the media earlier this week.

Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson revealed the midfielder has picked up a calf injury and is not available for selection.

“Owen’s not ready. He’s injured,” Sir Alex said. “He got a calf injury and has missed training for the last few days.”

The news contradicts reports from across the Atlantic that suggested Hargreaves was set to make his first senior start since September 2008. Dr Richard Steadman, who has overseen part of Hargreaves’ rehabilitation, was quoted this week as saying: “Owen should play some part on Saturday.”

But Sir Alex insists the statement is “not accurate”.

“I pick the team and I have been doing that for a while,” he said. “We’re having some difficulties with the doctor [Steadman] in Colorado. It’s not fair to the player, to the fans and to ourselves to say the player is going to be playing. It’s ridiculous.

“It’s a small interference that has caused a bit of confusion. Owen’s not available for West Brom.”

One player who could take to the pitch is Ryan Giggs. The Welshman missed United’s games against Valencia and Sunderland after picking up a hamstring injury in the Reds’ draw at Bolton in late September, but Sir Alex says he’s now ready to re-enter the fray.

“Giggsy’s been out for a couple of weeks but he’s fit again.”

The boss also confirmed that all those involved in international matches this week returned to Carrington unscathed and applauded FIFA’s recent decision to schedule matches on Fridays and Tuesdays. Previously, those games would have taken place on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

“It’s a fantastic move to bring these games forward,” Sir Alex said, “particularly the Tuesday games. That gives us an extra day to prepare [for the weekend].”

It's not an official bio. It's an unofficial bio by someone who wants to cash in on Fergie, called Patrick Barclay.
