i thought, for a second, Macheda chose a wrong option in our winning goal build up (instead i think he's better run towards goal himself and bury it using his right foot). but Hernandez did awesomely his 1st touch and finished coolly..
for this Saturday game, i think SAF should deploy Berba-Owen up front. 4-5-1 are secure option to face in form team like Sunderland, but i think Berba isnt a good choice to play as lone striker. he's slow and need a partner. bring on Hernandez /Macheda for Owen later. injured Scholes is more worrying than injured Rooney.. not sure about best CM partnership available for us right now.. |

QUOTE(ayanami_tard @ Oct 1 2010, 04:40 PM) ^this i dont think Sunderland will defensive. they will attack right from the start and the crowds are behind them. they are very attacking side at Anfield last week. they'll defensive in 80th min if the score favour them.anyway,4-4-2 is still the most relevant formation(Rooney is the only player that is perfectly suited to be lone striker and he's out of form).and since carrick is around i want to see him with gibson(fletcher need to rest) besides,i expect sunderland to play defensive against us Bruce love to play with 2 strikers. and they have very decent strikers, in Bent and Gyan. but this will suit us more. im prefer facing attacking side than defensive side (except that team are Barca). the game will be open and more exciting. |

resting Rooney, whether he's 100% or 90% are quiet reasonable right now. England desperately will use him either way.
Berba is on fire, Owen and Hernandez found their scoring touch. Macheda is another good option. might get backfire, who knows, but we can definitely do the job without Rooney. |

SAF isnt a saint, he's constant liar. but no one better than SAF in man management.
im convince the ankle problem are his cover story, to protect and rest Rooney. Rooney is droppable, he's off colour and we have an alternative strikers. still, WBA home match are perfect match for Rooney. then CL home match, Stoke away. a game time for Owen or Hernandez if Rooney continuing his dismal form. |
