Getting Started Junior Member 52 posts Joined: Aug 2010	what is this brick mean actually...? does it means cannot boot to homescreen? or cannot boot at all? or its just vibrate without showing nokia logo? or the phone is totally useless just like it got no battery inserted...? my phone cannot boot means i dont see a nokia logo, the phone vibrate a moment as usual and the screen light up, and it stay like that until i remove the battery... is that is considered as brick...? to resolve that, i just flash the phone with ori firmware, and its back to live...

U cannot downgrade the firmware, or else u can kill your phone. But Phoenix still can revive dead phone. After update u can't update your phone via FOTA. This is why in some/most of the CFW had FOTA disable.
