Its nothing really special, just make sure your batt is low where it tells you to plug in charger & then only charge. Do not unplug till its fully charged. For me in the initial weeks of charging, when it says fully charged, i just leave plugged for an additional hour. It seemed to work like a charm after. Whatever you do, try & refrain from doing partial charging. Hope this helps.

If traveling overseas or using it for long time, maybe can try to use a portable usb charger so if the battery really runs out still can charge it

Hmm...with such short batt life, will it realistically replace existing mobile phone? Coz i hate to carry 2 devices at the same time

how do I disable the "dragging touch unlock" feature. i want to be able to use it after i press the power button, wihtout need to drag icon to unlock.

IMO, tablet like tab/ipad wont replace mobile phone even though got the call function. its between smartphone and netbook
imagine using this 7" device to make a phone call.. will defintelty look weird. even the Dell Streak is HUEG for a smartphone.

I think the best is using the 3G function from your smartphone then use the WiFi tethering for your tablet.. (wait for WiFi only Galaxy Tab )

I am sure you can easily find these at any mobile phone shop. As long as it has a 3.5 plugin. Price ranges from rm30 to m80 depend on branding

can. just like normal hp handsfree kit.

dun use earphone also can. sound comes out from built in loudspeaker.

So don't mind asking where got stock for Tab...which Maxis centre got.

The tab comes with a stereo headset with mic for phone usage.

i mean one that doesn't have a cable. the thing will just insert to the earphone jack, with little bit portrusion for the earpiece. then it will be transformed into a real phone.


the headset doesn't have mic.

My CSL MI700 comes together with a wireless bluetooth headset where u can use it for phone function. I am very sure GT can also perform with a wireless bluetooth headset. Just go to any phone shop, they will sell u.
