I have rooted my SGT. I have tried updating the firmware and its giving me error or timeout.

Is this because that I have rooted my SGT?

i want to ask a question. I realize the galaxy tab only have 1.9gb space for installing apps, thats what I see fromt the memory indication. Is it true that Galaxy Tab can only take 1.9gb to install apps?

pressing the small power button to put the tab into sleep is a bit arkward, is there a software button toggle in home scrren that can put the tab into immedite sleep mode? (same like pushing the power button). If you guys know of such applications please share...thks

If you have used z4root, try unrooting it then update again. My update of software worked out fine.

I have unrooted using Z4Root, same happens. Now I'm trying on another PC at my office using windows 7, its giving error 'kies fail to update firmware unknown error occurred'.

Would appreciate some reply.

PS: Any chance to download offline firmware and install it on SGT?

thks, need to try it out, i can't dl from appbrain, anyone got the free tap-tap-app can attached here or not? it's not warez it's a free apps, so should be ok toattched i believe.

Pressing power button is so much easier and quicker, compared to another app

1. there is no USB slot. no idea how to plug in
2. it has microSD slot. if you camera uses microSD card then just insert it there. if your camera uses SD card, then use microSD card & adaptor on your camera

I use the tab with wifi and also 3G. Never used it as a phone. I personally still prefer to use the Nexus One for phone. biggrin.gif

Lucky u can afford several device at a time. I used to hv a sg tab, but changed to desire z coz feel awkward when using the tab as hp in public. Ppl owez stared at me (maybe due to i was one of the several ppl own it that time) blush.gif

i used it a tablet and minor sms ..
anyone here use the reader hub inside there? or got any other better app one for reading newspaper??
