datnoids arent vry expensive depends on the type...

I read they're colours fading is not caused by any physical element.. its just they're feelings..

aiks, i mistake, i think i need the steps to reach there by train or bus...i am not driving ><
*
train or bus? haha I always use train to go there... my school connected to Plaza Rakyat LRT station.. so just take lrt to pudu, get of and 2minutes walk and im there...

Livestocks I prefer Alive Aquarium alot.. Their for sale tank oso decorated and they're labels are printed clearly.. However I see some fish missing labels... The only fiberglass tanks tehre are the ones containing koi for sale...

Liching I will never buy silver arowanas from there blink.gif I once saw them selling alot of 4 inch ones with their gill plates some how "missing".. And Liching has quite a stench.. A friend told me the owners very ego(LC) too... But I love the red aros in their pond at the back... simply amazing rclxms.gif

However I dun really disagree closing the store opposite.. They should stop selling fish in bags hung over ppl's head or in pails... I saw them selling plecos(prefers cold water) in pails under DIRECT SUNLIGHT... kesian la them sad.gif Summore they sell "sets" of fish.. they dump few fishes in one bag and then sell them... gila one... I once even saw they had a silver arowana with a crooked spine in the bag.... There are some good stores though.. There is one stall specialise selling "benih ikan"... I like that store because there are many types of feeder fish but oso kept under bad condition.... I bought few before and managed to keep them alive until feeding... including one channa striata and it still survived....

And one of the worse things abt the pasar malam-like stalls is that they're turtles, tortoises, hermit crabs and crayfish are kept in VERY BAD condition.. Crayfish are not even kept fully submerged!! and they always give wrong info as they want to sell off the fish...

Those are the shops I'm referring to. Those pasar malam roadside shops where the fish are subjected not only to the heat but also traffic fumes, etc. I wish there was something that could be done to stop this but they'd just move on and sell somewhere else.

not only that.. they are very rude...

Bro, the poor thing was in a big pond but for some reason water level cant even cover its whole body? Then how exactly is it a big pond in the first place LOL

Anyways, did you get any pics? Like whose pond is it and who maintains/feeds/etc?
I saw one Mamak fishing around for Arapaimas marked 'Sold' at ggMing's shop  tongue.gif

Nice to meet you; probably be seeing more of you in future LOL
Actually you only need to have a photocopy of the import permit and basically keep it as record. That's all the law requires of you. The guy who imported it or any other animal listed in CITES appendices is the one responsible for obtaining relevant permits and providing copies to all subsequent buyers.

The real danger is Act 76 of the Wildlife Protection Act 1972; Act 686 covers mostly international trade of CITES listed animals. Since yours is not listed under Act 76 you really have nothing to worry about because although its unlikely that its bred locally; Act 686 applies to the actual fish that is imported. If someone managed to breed them and yours is the offspring then technically it doesn't fall under either of the Act.

Anyways, the chances of you getting into trouble for it is less than nil.

I'll see if I have pics.. about the pond... Big area.. but not deep enough... 1st time i ever seen a pima that huge
